The Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City star Bronwyn Newport has revealed gruesome details of the shocking dog attack she suffered in April.
Fans of the reality show were left aghast when Bronwyn, 39, showed off the grisly bite marks on her legs and right arm during this week's episode.
Now she has offered a hair-raising play-by-play account of how the incident occurred, and how she reacted to the ordeal.
She was walking one of her own six canines at a dog park in Salt Lake City when she tried to pet another animal there - only for it to turn around and set upon her.
Bronwyn confessed she 'totally freaked out' and 'did everything wrong,' screaming and yanking her arm in a way she suspects 'made it worse.'
Ultimately, she had to go to the hospital, where she learned she had sustained 37 puncture wounds and a hairline fracture caused by the bite on her bicep, via People.

The fiasco began when she was at the dog park and caught sight of 'a dog running around. He wasn't barking, nothing seemed weird, but he was alone. So I reached out to pet him and he did make a weird kind of skid move. He jerked away from me.'
Bronwyn explained that the strange dog then rounded on her, leapt at her and sank its teeth into one of her legs behind her knee.
She proceeded to do 'everything wrong,' she admitted, saying: 'I know you're not supposed to scream, you're not supposed to jerk your arm. I did all of those things.'
The Brazil-born reality star went on: 'I totally freaked out. I'd never been bitten by a dog before. I totally lost my mind, and I honestly think I made it worse.'
Bronwyn revealed in detail: 'He did bite me behind the leg. He got me on the other side of my calf. As I tried to pull away, he got my other leg on the thigh.'
She remembered: 'I think at that point I must have leaned forward or was trying to push him away. He ended up getting my right arm, where my bicep is, very badly and clamped onto my arm. I could not get him off.'
Ultimately, she was saved by a Good Samaritan in the park who saw the attack unfolding and helped Bronwyn remove the dog from her person.
'I had 37 separate bites when I went to the emergency room. They had to do a really comprehensive overview. I had stitches in both my arm and my leg,' said Bronwyn.

'When he clamped down on my bicep, he fractured it. I had a little hairline fracture on the bone, and the bruising was really intense and it was throbbing,' she divulged.
'You've got to know if your dog is the kind of dog that can be at a dog park. You have to be watching them. If it had been an older person or someone younger than me, it could have been much more life-threatening injuries. I'm grateful they weren't.'
She is now 'healed' and trying to prevent the bites from leaving scars, she shared - adding that she declined to press charges over the incident.
Sharing that the dog's behavior had been impacted by its health problems, Bronwyn said she and her husband Todd Bradley had paid for it to be treated and rehomed.
Bronwyn declared that 'the most important thing to me is that the dog is doing well and I'm doing well,' while acknowledging that 'Honestly, even as a dog lover, I was terrified of dogs for a long time afterwards. You just are.'
However she harbored compassion for the dog that attacked her, saying: 'I did feel for the dog. I have rescue dogs who've been through it.'

She has shared that she was 'mortified' when she saw the footage on TV, insisting: 'I did not know until I saw the episode,' to Us Weekly.
Over the past two years, Bronwyn's husband Todd Bradley has allegedly been sued twice over claims their dogs attacked delivery drivers, the U.S. Sun reports.
One lawsuit was purportedly by a male Amazon employee demanding at least $300,000, but that case was reputedly dismissed after a 'mutual settlement' was reached, according to court documents.
In another alleged case - one that is still ongoing - a female Instacart driver sued for $60,000 minimum, claiming she was 'attacked, bitten and scratched' by one of the dogs, and Todd has reportedly filed to have her case dismissed with prejudice.
