Jen Shah is set to regain her freedom sooner than you think.
As the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star continues her prison sentence on a conviction of conspiring to commit wire fraud, her release date has been moved up by more than a year.
After checking in to Bryan Federal Prison Camp in Texas in February 2023, the reality star—who was sentenced to six and a half years behind bars for her involvement in an alleged telemarketing scheme—is now set to be set free on Nov. 3, 2026, according to inmate records viewed by E! News.
Shah—who was a main cast member on RHOSLC during its first three seasons—previously had her 2029 release date bumped up by a year shortly after reporting to prison. Then, in October 2024, her sentence was condensed by an additional eight months, bringing her release date to Dec. 19, 2027.
The reduction of Shah’s sentence is the latest development in her criminal case, which began with her arrest in March 2021, as documented on a season two episode of the Bravo series. Although she initially pled not guilty, she later changed course and entered a guilty plea in July 2022.

But while her legal saga fueled much of the drama on RHOSLC before her exit, the series has had no shortage of fireworks in her absence. In the trailer for the upcoming season five reunion, tensions rose as the women—and their husbands—traded blows over a flurry of cheating rumors, including one concerning OG housewife Lisa Barlow.
“You guys were saying, ‘Maybe Lisa's had affairs,’” she said before costar Angie Katsanevas replied, “Your friends send me photos of someone you were dating.”
The preview also teased another OG, Meredith Marks, storming off after her nearly 30-year marriage was put under scrutiny.
“I’m getting angry,” Meredith declared amid accusations of infidelity on the part of her husband, Seth Marks. “The whole reason I came here was not for this—I am finished.”
