RHONJ star Margaret Josephs, 58, unveils nose job after extensive plastic surgery makeover

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Margaret Josephs has gone under the knife yet again, this time for a nose job.

The 58-year-old unveiled the results of her 'nasal rejuvenation' on Instagram this week, along with photos from the recovery process.

'No one wants a droopy tip... as I got older my tip started to droop as I smiled and I was really unhappy about it,' she wrote.

'When I was younger I never disliked my nose and could never imagine doing a nose job, but with age the cartilage in my nose didn’t support my tip and it emphasized a slight bump in my nose,' she continued.

Josephs admitted that that she was deeply bothered by how her nose looked in photos, so she eventually bit the bullet and went to see Beverly Hills surgeon Dr. Gary Motykie for a 'slight tweak'.

'Now my nose fits my face perfectly and no one can quite put their finger on why!' she said.

Rhinoplasty has now become a secret anti-ageing hack with people in their 50s and 60s.

'As we age our noses and ears continue to grow and droop with gravity,' Beverly Hills-based plastic surgeon Dr. Deepak Dugar told Daily Mail last year.

'If you’ve never had any rhinoplasty work previously done, sometimes you’ll notice your nose looks longer and droopier than your younger photos once you start to get into your 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond,' he continued.

As a result, Dr. Dugar - who is famed for his 'Scarless Nose Job' procedure and was behind Sami Sheen's new nose - has seen a 'massive uptick' in older patients seeking out rhinoplasty.

'This generation of patients over 50 are more in tune with their anti-aging options as the facelift industry has catapulted the idea of natural facial rejuvenations,' he said.

'But this leads [patients] to then focus on the center of the face that can't be addressed with a facelift, so then they inquire about rhinoplasty for their nose.'

While Dr. Dugar said that historically his smallest demographic for nose jobs was patients in the 50-plus age range, it's now become his second largest demo after the 18-to-25 age range.

'The 50-plus generation also has more expendable income and have most likely been desiring the procedure for most of their adult lives, leading to no confusion as to whether they want to get it done or not,' he added.

She also showed off the bruising and swelling from her fat transfer, which she had done to restore lost volume in her face

Dr. Dugar, who has become the go-to guy for rhinoplasty in Hollywood, stressed that the right nose can do wonders to help patients turn back the clock.

'Typically, a more youthful nose will be one that is less droopy with a slight upward axis, giving a more cherubian and younger look to the nose and face,' he explained.

'And sometimes decreasing the overall size of the nose to make it look more contoured and defined helps make the face look younger and more youthful as well.'

On top of the rhinoplasty, Josephs also had a fat transfer and stem cell treatment on her face to restore lost volume.

Since her latest round of nips and tucks, Josephs has proudly flaunted her new look at a number of public events, including Bravocon in November.

She also attended a Broadway show in New York City on February 10.

Before and after: Since appearing on RHONJ, Josephs has had a nose job, deep plane facelift, upper and lower eyelid lifts, a breast lift and more

Josephs is no stranger to plastic surgery, with the reality star undergoing extensive facial work in 2019.

She had a revision neck lift, deep plane facelift, lower eyelid lift, and a revision upper eyelid lift, all performed by Dr. Mark Karolak.

The following year, she had a breast lift and reduction from Dr. Joseph Michaels, who had previously worked on RHONJ's Dolores Catania.

'I am devoted to my plastic surgeon Dr. Mark Karolak and regularly maintain my Botox; I also do have lasers sporadically,' she previously told New Beauty.

'Truthfully, my facelift was the best thing I ever did. There is nothing topical that can achieve the results a facelift can once you have muscle loss and sagging.'

Josephs is currently rumoured to be returning for the next season of RHONJ after the show was put on pause for retooling in 2024.
