Hot Goss: We're Keeping Up with Kylie Jenner & Timothée Chalamet
Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet are publicly very private about their nearly two-year romance.
That’s why their joint outing at the 2024 Golden Globes was such a moment. The couple—who have both emphasized the importance of keeping the details of their relationship under wraps since they first began dating in 2023—made their grand relationship debut at the Jan. 7 televised ceremony last year, and it was a sight for everyone to see.
The rare night out for the Kardashians star, 27, and Timothée, 29, could happen again tonight, Jan. 5, during the 2025 ceremony at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. After all, the A Complete Unknown star is nominated for Best Actor in a Motion Picture-Drama for his portrayal of Bob Dylan in the biopic. For her part, Kylie—who shares Stormi, 6, and Aire, 2, with ex Travis Scott—has already proven her support for his latest project by attending the film’s Dec. 10 Los Angeles premiere.
If they are to have a second Golden Globes date night, it would be hard for the couple to top the head-turning night shared last year in the Hilton’s International Ballroom. Although Kylie did not walk the carpet alongside the Wonka star—who was up for Best Actor Motion Picture-Musical or Comedy—she was firmly by his side at one of the iconic round tables for the whole night.
Indeed, the pair mostly remained within each other’s reach in their assigned seats, even showing some PDA, as celebrities approached them to mingle and pose for photos. In fact, they were so attached at the hip that a rumor Selena Gomez had been denied a photo with the pair went viral. (Many fans online thought they deciphered Selena recounting the moment by lip reading a conversation between her, Taylor Swift and Keleigh Sperry Teller).

Of course, Selena promptly shut down the controversy writing in a comment on the E! News Instagram a few days later writing, “I told Taylor about two of my friends who hooked up. Not that that's anyone's business.”
But the Only Murders star wasn’t the only Golden Globes attendee subject to lipreading. Many fans also thought they spotted Kylie telling Timothée at one point while on camera, “I love you.”
Meanwhile, an insider at the event told E! News that the couple had “banter back and forth” during the show.

Sadly, Timothée was bested in his category last year by The Holdovers’ Paul Giamatti, but if he takes this year’s trophy over Adrien Brody, Daniel Craig, Colman Domingo, Ralph Fiennes, and Sebastian Stan, perhaps Kylie will get a special shoutout.
In the meantime, keep reading for more moments from the duo’s nearly two-years together.
