The tenth and final part of our Resident Evil Requiem walkthrough is set in ARK. After Leon's journey through the Raccoon City Center, he's determined to save Grace from Zeno and stop him from releasing Elpis. In this Resident Evil Requiem ARK walkthrough, we'll help you defeat the elite guards, defeat the Commander, survive the lickers and zombies, obtain the override keys, and kill the final boss.

Before you set off, it's important to note that this walkthrough will teach you how to get through Requiem on casual and standard (modern and classic) difficulties.

Here's how to complete the tenth part of Resident Evil Requiem: ARK.

[Ed. note: This guide contains spoilers for Resident Evil Requiem, so continue at your own risk! Feel free to follow along or bookmark this page and come back if you get stuck.]

Enter ARK and fight the elite guards (Leon)

As you enter ARK for the first time, grab the scrap from the crate to your right (south side of the Loading Dock), then follow the path through the green-lit door. The next green-lit door, to your left, leads to a Staff Room with a save point, supply box, med injector, ammo crate, and N0-AH status report file.

Walk down the Service Corridor. In the small nook to your right, before descending the stairs, you'll find a Mr. Raccoon statue. In the large Server Room, you can grab a green herb in the east, some ammo in the southeast, and gunpowder (large) in the northwest. Collect the tracking module (rare) in the small room in the south before interacting with the computer.

As you return to the Server Room, three elite guards will enter. It may be helpful to find a dark corner before they enter, then snipe them as they come into view. Note that they're wearing headlights, which should make them easier to spot.

In the next area, carefully peek around the corner to snipe the first two elite guards. The other two will hide at the back of the room, so you've no choice but to climb the scaffolding and get closer. If you don't have sniper rifle ammo, you can also hit the gas tank with the red light to create a cloud of smoke (without any sniping), and then climb the scaffolding. Take cover behind the final plate (see picture below, right side).

Although it is possible to snipe both elite guards from this position, it's not the best cover. A better way to take them down is to hide behind cover, and shoot the red bio tank with the licker enemy inside. The elite guards will immediately focus their attention on this monster, who will kill them.

Drop down the ledge without the licker spotting you, and it'll attack the new batch of elite guards as they come in. Be ready to shoot the licker if it's the only surviving opponent. To eliminate the elite guards yourself, shoot the gas tanks to confuse them, and be sure to use melee attacks against the one with the riot shield.

The elite guards drop heaps of ammo, so be sure to collect it before you leave this area. Don't miss the green herb in the southwest corner of the Stockroom either. In the corridor, turn left to find the Staff Room with the save point again, or turn right to enter a large hallway with strange statues. There's a gunpowder (large) on the shelf to your right just before you enter.

Commander boss fight (Leon)

Upstairs, in the Guest Lounge to the right, you may collect the Raccoon City bioweapon research report (file), the product catalog 1 2026 (file), the product catalog 2 2026 (file), and some ammo before heading into the large corridor. When you do, the Commander boss will appear.

To defeat the Commander in Resident Evil Requiem, wait for him to approach you and parry his attacks, then counterattack immediately after. Whether you should attack again or not depends on the Commander's stance; if he doubles over, go for it, but if he's in his usual "attack" stance, holding his blades in front of him, do not attack.

Following a quick-time event (mash the button shown on the screen), the Commander will hit the pipes to produce smoke. If you lose sight of him, try to back into a corner so he's got less opportunity to surprise you. Upon defeat, the Commander drops the Mortal Edge hatchet, a new melee weapon. You can also find some ammo and a med injector in the two crates before you leave.

Return to the corridor where the Commander first appeared. A cutscene will transport you to the Dump below where you'll start playing as Grace.

Get past the lickers (Grace)

After you end up in the Dump as Grace, you must crawl through the vent on the east side. You'll walk past a control panel that requires a key, but leave it for now. Walk upstairs, get a piece of scrap on your right, and follow the corridor to the Lab Entrance, which contains a save point, supply box, and area map.

As you approach the Sterilization Chamber, beware of the licker (the fleshy, frog-like type of enemy) patrolling the area. Luckily, lickers can't see you; they can only hear. Grab the empty bottle from the cabinet to your right, then walk (don't run!) into the Sterilization Chamber.

While it's possible to kill lickers and zombies with hemolytic injectors, don't worry if you don't have any on hand. Wait for the licker to walk away from you, toward the safe at the back, and turn left. You can grab the green herb, or leave it for later.

Though you could kill it if you happened to kill the licker with a hemolytic injector, don't worry about the zombie on the stretcher for now. There's an empty bottle behind it, a makeshift knife in the northwest corner, and another empty bottle in the northeast, next to the safe (again, wait for the licker to walk away before you grab it). As you collect the loot (marked with stars on the map below), beware of the glass shards on the floor, as walking over them produces noise. There's glass in the northeast and northwest of the Sterilization Chamber.

Pass through Bioweapon Repository 02 and take the northeast hallway into the Chemical Storage. Beware of the licker on the ceiling; if you crouch, it won't notice you. There are two zombies inside the Chemical Storage, but it's possible to sneak past them (if you're set on fighting, though, be sure to use a melee weapon to avoid alerting the lickers, or kill the lickers first).

Grab the two blue bottles of acid and collect the blood (20) from the floor, then collect the override key (dump control room) in the east, on the device with the green glow.

As you grab the key, the power will switch off and the zombies may begin to notice you; walk back the way you came, though continue to crouch in the hallway. Should you encounter a licker on your path, hit it with a bottle of acid, which should kill it instantly. If you encounter a zombie, either attack it with a knife or shoot it in the head to stagger it, then continue your walk to the Lab Entrance. Neither zombies nor lickers can open the doors, so it's fine to alert the lickers if you're about to leave a room anyway.

Go downstairs to use the override key on the dump control system. Beware of the licker on the wall; sneak by, use a hemolytic injector, or throw a bottle of acid to kill it. Once you've opened the exit for Leon, grab the magnetic key from the wall behind you, then return to the Lab Entrance upstairs.

Find a way to open the red door (Grace)

Use the magnetic key to open the double doors in the Lab Entrance. Ahead of you, in the Lobby, you'll see a large red doorway that requires two orbs to open it. Since you don't have them yet, go left.

The first door on your left leads into the Monitor Control Room, where you'll find an empty bottle, the bottle of acid crafting recipe (it's in the briefcase), and another safe. If you can, craft some bottles of acid right now, which requires one empty bottle and blood (80) a piece.

Continue west through the lounge area and go downstairs into Bioweapon Repository 05. In the first container, in the hallway, you'll find a green herb and the Sterilization Chamber safe code (file).

You can loot the containers in the larger room as well, but beware of the lickers and zombies. The main danger is the risk of a zombie attacking you, and the lickers being drawn to the ensuing fight. It may be helpful to use a bottle of acid on the first licker, then lure the first zombie back to the hallway to kill it with a knife. Now you can loot the first container in peace, while you only need to avoid one licker to loot the next two.

Here's a list of every Bioweapon Repository 05 container along with its loot. Beware of numbers 5 and 8 and their evil residents. Also, as you're nearing the end of the game, you don't have to be that careful with your ammo/item management anymore, or feel compelled to collect everything.

  1. Green herb, Sterilization Chamber safe code (file).
  2. Hip pouch (two inventory slots), empty bottle.
  3. Eight handgun ammo.
  4. Scrap.
  5. Makeshift knife. There's also a zombie inside!
  6. Scrap, Monitor Control Room safe code (file).
  7. Scrap.
  8. Transfusion bag (80) and three handgun ammo. There's also a zombie inside!

The easiest way to get past the two lickers and zombie on the north side of the room, is to jam a hemolytic injector into the zombie before throwing acid on the lickers, but if that's not an option, you can sneak into container 6 when the zombie turns his back, sneak into container 7 from there, wait for the zombie to pass again, and run upstairs.

In the Operations Room, you can save your game, destroy a Mr. Raccoon statue, collect a med injector, update the map (look at the computer), and find the Noblesse Orb (the first orb needed to open the red doors).

To get some extra loot, exit through the gap. If you'd like to loot the three crates, it's useful to kill at least one licker so you can easily walk away from the second licker when it's drawn to the noise. There's a bottle of acid in the northeast corner, too.

Drop down into the chamber below when you're ready (if you didn't kill every enemy, best to drop down near the exit in the southeast). When you walk upstairs into the Antechamber, beware that two lickers will burst through the window. Use some acid if you have it, or sneak past the lounge chairs on the right side, avoiding the glass shards. If that's hard to manage with two lickers in the room, you can also step on the glass shards to lure the lickers, wait until the path on the right is clear, and then leave.

When you return to the Lobby with the red door, make a quick stop at the Monitor Control Room to your right to open the safe. The safe code is 50 to the left, 60 to the right, 80 to the left. You will receive an empty bottle, a bottle of acid, and a med injector.

Place the Noblesse Orb on the red door's recessed panel to clear an inventory slot. To get the second orb, return to Bioweapon Repository 02 in the east, passing through the Lab Entrance and (if you'd like to open the second safe), the Sterilization Chamber. The Sterilization Chamber's safe code is 10 to the right, 90 to the left, 20 to the right. You will receive 15 handgun ammo, a molotov cocktail, and a med injector.

Beware that the stretcher zombie will finally wake up, though you can sneak past him without a fight. Any lickers and zombies left alive after your first visit should also still be here. Either kill them or lure them to the southwest corner of Bioweapon Repository 02, then circle to the door in the north. You must use the magnetic key to open this door.

In the Cleanroom, collect the transfusion bag (80) and the molotov cocktail, though beware that the latter will wake the zombie on the stretcher (nothing a few bullets won't solve, though). Grab the Animus Orb from the red chest, and be prepared to fight a small zombie horde directly after. Throw a molotov cocktail and use your handgun; no need to be afraid of lickers this time.

Head back to the Lobby, open the red door to the Archives, and interact with the screen on the right to obtain the access log: first assembly minutes file. Next, interact with the computer on the north side of this large room to complete Grace's part of this Resident Evil Requiem ARK walkthrough.

Get the override key (Leon)

Playing as Leon, leave the Dump. In the first room, collect scrap from the trashcan and 12.7x55mm ammo from the briefcase. There's additional ammo in the two crates. Around the corner in the yellowish corridor, be ready to fight two zombies. A bit further ahead, Leon will experience his first bout of dizziness as a third zombie attacks; though it'll be a bit harder to aim, you can still shoot zombies in this state.

Collect the hand grenade on your right before heading into the B4 Staff Room straight ahead. There's a computer to save your game, a supply box, a med injector, and some ammo.

Leave the B4 Staff Room and head right into Bioweapon Repository 11. The door to the north requires an override key. For now, just collect the ammo in this room, open the briefcase for a tracking module (legendary), and take the path to the south.

In Bioweapon Repository 12, defeat the lickers (there should be five of them) and loot the containers for extra ammo. If a licker gets within melee distance, parry their attacks with your hatchet. Press the button in the middle of the room to open the doorway to the west, into the Generator Room.

Dispose of the two lickers inside, then grab the gunpowder (large) and ammo before interacting with the override system. Now you can take the stairs to System Management, where you'll find the override key (Bioweapon Repository 11). Note that there's a green herb at the foot of the stairwell, as well as a med injector and 12.7x55mm ammo briefcase upstairs (plus more ammo crates).

Here's the route from the Generator Room to the override key:

Upon your return to Bioweapon Repository 11, you'll find a bunch of lickers on the ceiling. Defeat them (throwing the red explosives underneath them will set them aflame), then use the override key. A horde of zombies will then emerge from the pods, and you'll need to get rid of them as well. We recommend using your grenades here as they'll be extremely helpful.

Before you take the elevator, beware that this is your last chance to upgrade your weapons at the supply box. Return to B4 Staff Room first if you'd like to adjust anything.

Make the final choice

When you're ready, take the elevator and follow the path towards the golden glow. After a cutscene, do the same thing while playing as Grace. Interact with Leon to reach Resident Evil Requiem's final choice.

Beware: If you don't want to spoil the ending, stop scrolling now!

The final choice is whether to destroy or release Elpis. As explained in more detail in our guide on Resident Evil Requiem's endings, one leads to a "good" outcome, and one to a "bad" one. If you pick the bad ending, the game will now end, but if you pick the good ending, a boss fight will ensue.

If you'd like to get the good ending and boss fight, pick "release Elpis."

Victor boss fight

After a lengthy cutscene, the final boss fight against Victor begins. Beware that this fight has two phases. First, you'll fight Victor in his (somewhat) human form. Parry his melee attacks with your hatchet, and try to keep some distance while you hit him with your strongest weapons (such as the Requiem). Whenever Victor gathers energy (the bright lightning effect), you've got a great opportunity to shoot him, but make sure you've got enough time to check which parts of the floor are affected by the lightning, so you can run away in time.

After a while, Victor will draw an RPG-7. Shoot him, and he'll drop the weapon (he won't pick it up again). Pick it up, but don't use it yet! Although it's tempting to use it on Victor in phase 1, it'll make phase 2 much easier.

In phase 2, the red bulbous spots are the monster's weak points. Hitting the central one with the RPG-7 is extremely effective. After you've dealt some damage, more red bulbs will spawn at the monster's roots; shoot them all to stagger the monster. At the end of the fight, you must complete a quick-time event (press a button) to finish Victor once and for all.

And that completes this Resident Evil Requiem walkthrough! Enjoy your well-earned happy ending.
