The official X account of the Rent-A-Girlfriend anime confirmed that the series will be returning for its fourth season in July 2024, and is scheduled to air for 2 cours, which is approximately 24-25 episodes. Furthermore, a key visual was unveiled that shows the five main heroines, Chizuru, Mami, Ruka, Sumi, and Mini, in a train station with their luggage, which is in line with the story arc the season is going to cover. While the cast of new characters hasn't been revealed yet, the returning ones were confirmed.
