Despite recently celebrating its seven-year anniversary, Red Dead Redemption 2 is still a beloved staple in video game history, with the Rockstar narrative adventure still welcoming thousands of players each year.
As the third instalment in the Red Dead series, there is no denying that Red Dead Redemption 2 is its most successful and that is in part thanks to its inclusion of Red Dead Online, an online component that allows players to make their very own outlaw and cause chaos around the wild west.
Not only that, but with brand-new content added almost monthly, Red Dead Online is very much still alive and kicking in lieu of that Red Dead Redemption 3 announcement.
Red Dead Online Free Content Available This Week
Rockstar GamesTo celebrate Red Dead Online's Collector Event, which runs from 3 February to 2 March, players will be able to get their hands on a myriad of free content, including cosmetics, treasure maps, in-game discounts, and more.
Simply by logging into Red Dead Online during this period could see you rack up monthly rewards by taking part in various challenges both weekly and monthly. For example, players who reach Rank 20 or higher can log in to receive the Nosalida Sombrero whilst level 20 Collectors can bag themselves the Nosalida Coat.
If you wish to grab the whole Nosalida set, you will have to complete a Blood Money Opportunity, play the Savage Free Roam event, play the Condor Egg Free Roam Event, and complete all of your Collector Daily Challenges in order to wrap up the new ensemble.
There's New DLC All Month
Rockstar GamesThroughout the rest of the month, players will also be able to earn weekly rewards ranging from new cosmetics, to a treasure map and even a 40% discount for some in-game items. Simply by logging in to Red Dead Online and taking part in some quick and easy challenges could see you walk away with a whole new look.
- February 3rd-9th: Collect a Fossil to receive a Reward for a Free Pair of Boots
- February 10th-16th: Log in to receive the pink Cardozo Vest
- February 17th-23rd: Win in the Featured Series to receive a Reward for the West Hill Haven Treasure Map
- February 24th-March 2nd: Discover two Collectibles to receive an Offer for 40% off an Established or Distinguished Collector Role Item
However, that is not all, as this brand-new Red Dead Online event also awards players with bonuses ranging from 2x RDO$ to Gold and XP, whilst events such as the Hardcore Team Shootout Series and the Race Series will also be making a return with grand prizes at stake. Last but not least, many items throughout the game will be available at a hefty discount, and clothing items such as the Chambliss Coat, Eberhart Coat, Vaquero Baroque Spurs, and Raccoon Hat Boots will be making a return for those who missed out on them the first time around.
Put simply, it is a good time to be a Red Dead Online player, especially if you want to look the most stylish.
