Rebecca Judd has revealed why she often spends one night away from her family.

The AFL WAG took to Instagram on Wednesday to cure her boredom whilst on holiday in a five-star Japanese resort with her husband and four children.

The 41-year-old posted a Q&A box for her 755,000 followers to engage with.

'I'm on holidays and have lots of spare time all of a sudden,' she wrote. 'Ask me anything.'

One follower asked the model and influencer how she copes with burnout.

Burnout is an occupational phenomenon defined as being a state of mental, physical, and emotional exhaustion that can occur when a person is exposed to prolonged stress (typically in the workplace).

In her response, the mother-of-four revealed she makes sure to take time away from her family to prevent burnout.

She shared her response to the question on her Instagram Stories as she listed off her mental wellness strategies.

'Good sleep; Infrared sauna; Exercise even though you don't want to; No alcohol; Say no; Time away (even one night) from family so you can have peace and quiet,' she wrote.

Expanding on that last thought, Bec wrote: 'It's amazing what one night of not being asked for anything can do for the soul.'

Bec and her AFL star husband Chris Judd have also recently been indulging in child-free getaways together, splashing thousands on Indonesian resorts and island living.

Just two months ago, the Melbourne 'It Couple' jetted off a private Indonesian island resort and then to Singapore, to stay in the famous Raffles Hotel which has hosted guests like Michael Jackson and Charlie Chaplin.

Staying in the lavish Palm Court Suite, the socialite and her former AFL star husband splashed $1,899 to stay at the palatial hotel for one night.

It comes after Bec announced she has finally completed renovations on her Mornington Peninsula holiday home, after snapping up the original property for a mere $1.2million nearly ten years ago.

Situated 85kms from Melbourne, near Arthurs Seat, the three-bedroom pad features stunning landscaped gardens and a stylish al fresco entertainment patio.

'Arthurs Seat is complete,' Bec gushed in an Instagram post last Friday.

'A huge thank you to my epic team and partners for pushing so hard to get this done in record time.'

AFL star Chris and Bec tied the knot in 2010 and they now share four children -daughter Billie, nine, son Oscar, 12, and twins Darcy and Tom.

Responding to a follower who asked where the Judds will be spending Christmas, Bec shared a birds-eye-view image of the Club Med Hokkaido resort.

'I'm a bit nervous about it. I'm not sure if they do Christmas all that well and the comms have been average regarding this,' she wrote sarcastically.

'Also my twins hate the cold and aren't afraid to melt down in front of an entire resort so, this could be a disaster. I'll report back once we are there.'
