Rebecca Minkoff has shared a major update on her status as a cast member of The Real Housewives Of New York City.
The 44-year-old fashion designer revealed Tuesday on Instagram that she is departing the iconic reality series after just one season.
In a text post shared with more than 35,000 followers, the newly minted reality star said it was time for her to start a 'new chapter.'
Minkoff, who first began appearing on season 15 in the summer of 2024, had been the subject of rumors in recent months that she might leave the show, as fans have called for her costar Brynn Whitfield to get the boot after she tried to 'weaponize her trauma' in the season finale.
The fashion figure declared that '2025 is a new beginning' for her, and she said she was 'reminded [of] the importance of family, friends and community now more than ever' after 'current events in the world.'
'The last month has given me new perspective on wanting to focus on my wildly amazing 4 kids, my supportive husband, my business of 20 years, the Female Founder Collective, my podcast and MY BOOK,' she explained.

'As much as I have learned along the way with this franchise and fans, I want to reprioritize the things that mean the most to me: designing, giving back, supporting women and raising my family,' she continued.
'I am truly grateful for the experience, the friendships and the fans that have been part of this RHONY chapter,' Minkoff added. 'Time to turn the page.'
Earlier on Tuesday, the founder of her eponymous fashion company reminded fans that it was the publication day for her new book, titled Fearless: The New Rules For Unlocking Creativity, Courage, And Success.
Although the comments on Rebecca's post were flooded with adoring fans, her costars didn't appear to have joined in.
However, she revealed in her Instagram Stories that her soon-to-be former costar Jessel Taank had joined her at a Lingua Franca fashion show in the Big Apple.
The brunette beauty also shared a snap of herself doing an interview on former RHONY star Dorinda Medley's SiriusXM radio show.
Rebecca feuded on and off with several of her costars during her stint on RHONY, including Brynn Whitfield, who mocked her for having her designs sold at a discount at Nordstrom Rack.
'Listen, she doesn't have to like my stuff. That's fine,' Minkoff conceded, before declaring, 'I built a $100 million company.'

Later, she described the comments as 'distasteful' in a confessional interview.
'I think it's pretty distasteful for her to come for my career, or anything I've done, frankly,' she complained. 'I'm not sure what she's done. It's like a little yap dog trying to bite you. I have been bit by real sharks. So, this is nothing to me.'
Later, Minkoff infuriated her costars — and even Andy Cohen — when she started a rumor that she was pregnant.
'I'm not a fan of a prank, I've got to be honest,' Cohen admitted shortly after it came to light on the series during his own talk show Watch What Happens Live.
