Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello spent the entire day before the US presidential election feeding trolls on X and repeatedly shutting down their accusation of him endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris.
The 60-year-old socialist explained how he spent two years working as the scheduling secretary for Democratic US Senator Alan Cranston from 1987-1988 where he 'saw first hand how oligarch money controls and criminally shapes politics and policy.'
'No one's eyes are more open than mine on this topic. Democrats are war criminals. Republicans are war criminals,' Tom - who boasts 4.6M social media followers - tweeted on Monday.
'While I do always vote because racists and the ruling class don't want me to, I believe that real change comes from creating an irresistible force from below - working and fighting before, during and after and election at the grassroots regardless of who wins, not just crossing your fingers and begging elites for crumbs.
'The ONLY candidate I have EVER publicly or privately endorsed was Cindy Sheehan, an anti-war activist who's son was killed in the Iraq War. She's was a true badass. Please pass this info along to the legions of misinformed chodes who have a similar perspective to your own.'

X user @robbystarbuck replied: 'You're voting for Kamala though, right? If so, you're voting for the same candidate as Dick Cheney. If not, I'll delete my post and admit I'm wrong.'
Morello clapped back: 'Delete your post, apology accepted.'
When X user @hexagong tweeted 'You endorsed her bro,' the two-time Grammy winner replied: 'Swing and a miss!'
And when X user @bannedbybiden called Tom a 'SOROS Stooge' he wisecracked: 'I miss him! Never got my damn check!'
Morello's Twitter rant began by him blasting so-called fans 'in Paul Ryan mode' who grossly misinterpret RATM songs like Killing in the Name and War Machine.
The Harvard University grad also defended his band against accusations they required vaccinations to attend their 19-date Public Service Announcement Tour in 2022.
'No sir, no one was required to be vaccinated to attend or buy a ticket to any RATM show ever,' Tom tweeted.
'Feel free to check with any of the tens of thousands who attended. Blinded by presumptive bias and misinformation what other sacred tenets of your world view and opinions are perhaps based on total falsities?"
