Kyle Sandilands revealed on Sunday that he and wife Tegan Kynaston are hoping to welcome a second child in the next year or two.
The KIIS FM radio star, 53, admitted the happy couple, who currently share two-year-old son Otto, have been in discussions about another baby in recent weeks.
Due to his busy work schedule with Australian Idol and his breakfast radio show, Kyle said he has to ensure the next child is 'well-timed', reported Insider.
'We were just talking yesterday and we will probably start working towards the new child [this] year, I think—that's what we're really doing,' he told the publicaiton.
'But we've gotta time that out though because I don't want to be away on auditions for Idol next year when she's about to give birth, so that's gonna be well-timed.'
He then joked, 'Bruno will have to get the calendar out,' referring to his manager Bruno Bouchet.

Kyle revealed in April last year he was thinking of expanding his family with wife Tegan, 38, ahead of their son Otto's second birthday.
The radio host spoke about his family plans while interviewing Miranda Kerr on The Kyle and Jackie O show at the time.
Kyle was discussing Miranda's growing family when he asked the model whether he should have another child.
'Do you think I should have another baby because I only have the one?' he asked.
'Yes,' Miranda insisted before Kyle added: 'I have to ask because some people say three kids is the marriage killer.'
Kyle welcomed his son Otto with wife Tegan in August 2022.
He previously described fatherhood as one of the greatest experiences in his life, telling Daily Mail Australia that he 'can't imagine being any happier'.
'I used to watch hours and hours of TV, and now I just sit there looking at him and he's really been a joy,' he said.

'I've just been sitting at home the whole time which I've enjoyed. I'm at home now more than I was with lockdowns, so we're loving every second of it.
'I'm pretty happy actually. I can't imagine being any happier.'
Kyle admitted he'd never dreamed of having children, but was now 'thrilled' that he decided to take the plunge and become a dad.
It was previously reported that Kyle had purchased a $13.8 million mansion in Sydney's elite Bellevue Hill to make room for his growing family.
