Longtime Kill Bill fans will soon be able to enjoy the ultimate experience for this franchise at home.

Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair is filmmaker Quentin Tarantino's four-and-a-half-hour cut that combines Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2003) and Kill Bill: Vol. 2 (2004). Though the extended movie was completed in 2006, it was previously only screened in very rare circumstances. But in 2025, Lionsgate finally gave The Whole Bloody Affair a wider theatrical release, and now, it is being made further available.

Via Apple TV, Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair will be available on digital from February 17, and is available to pre-order for $19.99. While The Whole Bloody Affair's Prime Video status is currently unclear, Amazon's streaming platform has the two separate Kill Bill movies available to rent. However, The Whole Bloody Affair is apparently how Kill Bill was meant to be watched.

Originally conceptualized as one movie but later split into two, Kill Bill follows Uma Thurman's Beatrix Kiddo, a.k.a. "The Bride," an assassin who tries to leave this life behind when she finds out she is pregnant. But her former allies conspire to ambush her and leave her for dead; years later, Beatrix sets out on a mission of vengeance to eliminate them all, ending with the leader and her former lover Bill (David Carradine).

Drawing inspiration from 1970s exploitation films and martial arts films, Kill Bill has never been held in the same regard by critics as Tarantino's Oscar-nominated pictures, such as Inglourious Basterds or Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, but the two-parter is an iconic and well-reviewed piece of work. Kill Bill: Vol. 1 has an 85% on Rotten Tomatoes, and Kill Bill: Vol. 2 has 84%.

Notably, Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair has 100% from 29 reviews. The 2025 re-release also grossed $6.3 million at the worldwide box office. Thus, it was no major box office success as the original two movies were, but a special event for the fans who wanted to see it.

Kill Bill's iconic cast also includes Lucy Liu, Daryl Hannah, Vivica A. Fox and Michael Madsen. Because of the enduring passion for the franchise, people still discuss the possibility of Kill Bill: Vol. 3 (which is unlikely to happen at this point), with Uma Thurman's own daughter Maya Hawke being a popular fancast for B.B., and Zendaya a favorite to play a young woman wanting to exact revenge on Beatrix.

Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair will be available to purchase on Apple TV from February 17, 2026.
