Proof the Kardashian-Jenners' Met Gala Looks Are Amazing, Sweetie

Indeed, being part of fashion’s biggest night has meant that the sisters have had to make some sacrifices in the name of style. 

For her 2024 “Garden of Time”-themed Maison Margiela silver corset gown, Kim revealed on an episode of The Kardashians that while she was “not as uncomfortable as I might look,” the gown was “definitely a performance piece.”

And mom Kris certainly had thoughts about her daughter’s sartorial choices, asking Kim, “Are you ever gonna wear a dress to the Met where you can actually walk?”

But Kim would not be deterred from her favorite fashions, saying, "That's just who I am. If you look good, it's all worth it."

Certainly Kim isn’t alone in the family when it comes to pulling out all the stops for the Met Gala. After sister Kylie attended her first one, wearing a silver Balmain gown for the “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology” theme, she knew going big would be her plan for all of her Met appearances.  

“I love the way people go all-out for the Met Ball,” she told Vogue at the time. “I love when people take risks.”
