The Role Jason Kelce's Kids Played in Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift Wedding

There was glitter—er, petals—on the floor after the party.

Because it was recently revealed that Jason Kelce and Kylie Kelce’s daughters—Wyatt Kelce, 6, Elliotte Kelce, 5, Bennett Kelce, 3, and Finnley Kelce, 15 months—were the flower girls at their uncle Travis Kelce’s wedding to Taylor Swift.

While praising the Kelce family in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, sports commentator Rich Eisen—who was among the roughly 1,000 guests to attend the star-studded ceremony at New York’s Madison Square Garden July 3—mentioned “those four little girls who were sprinkling flower petals all over the place."

Not that fans were leaving a huge blank space around who would fill the role. After all, family played a large part in Travis and Taylor’s nuptials. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s brother Jason, for instance, was The Man—the Best Man, that is—and the Grammy winner’s brother Austin Swift was her Man of Honor. Plus, Taylor already had the reputation of beloved aunt to Wyatt, Elliotte, Bennett and Finnley even before she tied the knot with Travis.

In fact, Kylie said the girls were "thrilled" when they found out about the couple's engagement last August.

"They’re so excited they’re getting another aunt, and we could not be more excited for them and what the future holds," the Not Gonna Lie podcast host added on Good Morning America in September. "We love love, and we love Taylor and Trav."

And if you were to ask Jason, "How’s life? Tell me, how’s your family?" he’d surely say Taylor is a perfect fit.

"I just enjoy her being my brother’s soon-to-be wife, and aunt to my kids," the former Philadelphia Eagles player told The Wall Street Journal in December, "and we try to leave that relationship where it should be, there."

Fans have enjoyed seeing Taylor and Travis’ bond with the kids too. And you can call it what you want, but Jason and Kylie's daughters have a specific name for the game they like to play with their aunt and uncle.

"Air time," Travis explained on Not Gonna Lie in February. "They want to be anti-gravity. They want to be in the air, flying, acting as planes."

If you go back to December, you’ll also find footage of Taylor holding one of the girls during a Kansas City Chiefs game. And if you want more proof she’s thriving in the auntie department, the singer revealed how she keeps the girls in mind when practicing her hobbies.

"I like to sew. I specialize, as you know, in children’s purses and baby blankets," she told Jason on her August episode of his and Travis’ podcast New Heights. "I make two things and that’s it."

Also a lover of baking sourdough, Taylor added she was "workshopping" a Funfetti flavor "for the girls because they love everything rainbow."

"They love sprinkles," the musician continued. "We put sprinkles in everything when we hang out."

And while Jason might have some bad blood with cats—going as far as telling his kids they’re poisonous—Taylor made sure the little ones developed some mad love for her three felines: Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson and Benjamin Button.

"It was actually really a great challenge," she continued during the podcast, which was recorded right before she got engaged. "Because as soon as I got the kids around the cats, it was my goal to prove to them that they weren’t poisonous. And there’s no better way to prove that than to just hand them Benjamin, my ragdoll cat who lets humans hold him like he’s a baby."

Now, the kids are totally fearless when it comes to the cats.

"My favorite thing ever is just when Benny will come up to me and just go, 'I find Benjamin. I find him,'" Taylor added. "And she’s just over there just laying with him and petting him and holding him. The cats are so good with kids. They’re like, 'Meredith is here!' And I'm like, 'Yep, and you know what? She didn’t bite you at all did she? And if she did bite you, she wouldn’t be poisonous.' They’re like, 'That’s not what our dad said.'"

In addition to being fans of Taylor’s cats, the kids are fans of her music.

"'The Man'—that’s my niece's favorite," Travis told Access Hollywood in May 2024 about Wyatt’s music preferences, “so we can always go with 'The Man.'"

Meanwhile, Jason said Elliotte likes "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.”

"There’s a line in that where, ‘I’m a real tough kid, I can handle my s--t,'" the retired center explained on The Pivot in September 2024. "Ellie’s 3 years old, and she says, 'I’m a real tough kid, I can handle my stuff.'"

Now that you know the role Jason and Kylie’s kids played in Taylor and Travis’ wedding all too well, keep reading to learn more details about the big day.

What did Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce wear for their wedding?

While Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s official wedding photos have not yet been released, the couple was confirmed to have been dressed to the nines in Christian Dior Haute Couture designed by Jonathan Anderson, who took over as creative director for the fashion house in 2025. It marked the designer’s first time designing a dress for a world-renowned celebrity.

The pair also each wore custom Christian Louboutin shoes. And Swift didn’t trade the Cartier for someone to trust, opting to sport accessories made by the jeweler.

Who was in Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding party?

While the rumors flew as to who from Swift’s squad would make it onto the altar with her, both the Grammy winner and her now-husband opted to skip the traditional wedding party. Instead, Swift had her brother Austin Swift act as her Man of Honor, while Kelce tapped his brother Jason Kelce to be his Best Man.

As for who was heard saying speak now or forever hold your peace? Adam Sandler stepped in to be the couple’s officiant. The comedian is, along with his family, a longtime Swiftie and has been a guest on the New Heights podcast. Kelce also made a cameo appearance in Happy Gilmore 2, which Swift rated “13/10” and called “an absolute must watch.”

Who attended Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding?

There was quite the evergreen group of friends that stepped out at Madison Square Garden to see Swift and Kelce say “I do.” Seriously, the guest list was over 1,000 people.

On Swift’s side, her longtime friends including Abigail Anderson Berard, Selena Gomez and her husband Benny Blanco, Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper, Ed Sheeran and wife Cherry Seaborn, Lena Dunham, Jack Antonoff, Zoë Kravitz, Ashley Avignone and Karlie Kloss could all be voted best dressed, fearless.

Meanwhile, Kelce had nearly every guy on the Chiefs take part in his special day, including quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany Mahomes, as well as former teammate Mecole Hardman Jr. and his fiancée Chariah Gordon. Chiefs coach Andy Reid, as well as owners Clark Hunt and Tavia Hunt, were also on the wedding’s lineup.

But the gue$t li$t didn’t end there. The couple was supported by stars from all phases of life, including Good Morning America anchors Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos, plus actors and musicians like Jason Sudeikis, Kesha, Machine Gun Kelly, Gracie Abrams, Maren Morris and the list goes on for evermore.

Who didn’t attend Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding?

Considering these nuptials simply hit different, it’s hard to believe any guest would decline on their RSVP. However, stars including Ryan Seacrest, Zoë’s fiancé (and Swift’s ex) Harry Styles and Swift’s former BFF Jaime King, whose son Leo Thames is one of Swift’s godchildren, had to skip the ceremony for their own reasons, emphasizing no bad blood.

Meanwhile, Garret “Jacknife” Lee—who co-produced Swift’s “The Last Time”—thought his invite was too good to be true. His wife Melissa Garner Lee revealed in an op-ed that her husband told her he’d received “a text” from Swift’s manager inviting the couple to her nuptials, but ignored it thinking it was spam.

Swift’s “Snow on the Beach” duet partner Lana Del Rey, for her part, also opted for a low-key weekend, skipping the nuptials in favor of hosting a friend’s birthday, which she confirmed on Instagram.

Among other stars who were formerly in Swift and Kelce’s inner circle but did not make their white veil occasion include Dianna Agron, Keleigh Sperry Teller and Miles Teller, as well as Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. Although the stars were previously thick as thieves with Swift and Kelce, it appears a frost has arisen amid the friendships.

What have guests said about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding?

Despite the large scale of the wedding, guests have overwhelmingly emphasized the intimate feel of Swift and Kelce’s ceremony.

"It was as intimate as it possibly could be given it was Madison Square Garden," Stephanapoulos said during a GMA segment July 4. “It was really this garden inside the Garden, which was so beautiful. It's hard to imagine a place that big, and a wedding with such stars, could feel so personal and so intimate.”
