Inside Drake and Sophie Brussaux’s Lavish Party for 8-Year-Old Son Adonis
Drake’s son is stunting like his daddy.
Indeed, the “I’m Upset” rapper shared a new picture of his and Sophie Brussaux's 8-year-old son Adonis, and its proof that he’s a spitting image of his dad. Swag and all.
In the picture, shared on Drake’s Feb. 24 Instagram Story, Adonis poses for the camera as he channels his Grammy winning father in a camo vest over a black sweatsuit. What’s more? Adonis flexes a series of iced-out chains including two in the shape of the Owl and OVO records logos.
Unlike his dad, Adonis is rocking much shorter tresses as he shows off his natural dirty blonde curls with faded sides.
Drake (real name Aubrey Graham) previously put his son’s growth on display in October when he threw him the ultimate Western-themed birthday bash. For the occasion, Drake, Sophie, and Adonis all rocked coordinating denim looks as they posed with family and friends in the venue, adorned with “Wanted” signage bearing Adonis’ face.
At one point, Drake, 39, and Sophie, 36—who've maintained a co-parenting relationship since welcoming Adonis in 2017—escorted the birthday boy to the front of the room as they helped him cut into his cake, which was decorated with cowhide and lasso accents.
Drake/Instagram
While Drake has kept much of Adonis' life out of the spotlight, the “Nice For What” rapper recently shared a candid fact about his son while performing in Amsterdam.
"I was saying backstage, I was saying that this is the place," Drake told the crowd at the July 30 show in the Netherlands capital. "A very special place in my heart. Because this is where my son was conceived."
Noting that it was pretty "big" for him to be performing in the city, the “Rich Baby Daddy” rapper added, "There would be no Adonis if there wasn’t an Amsterdam, so shoutout to y'all."
