Professor Green returned to Instagram with a brand music video on Wednesday, just hours after appearing to reference his ex-wife's current marital crisis.

The Hackney-based rapper, 42, surprised social media followers with a preview of the promotional material for his latest single, No Management, a collaboration with grime music producer Zdot.

The track, Green's latest after releasing four previous singles with Zdot in 2025, has been available to purchase or stream from January 28.

Wednesday's post suggests the accompanying video will be following shortly, while the rapper's productivity over recent months points towards a possible new album – his first since 2014 release Growing Up In Public.

His latest posts follow a rather more veiled appearance on Instagram, with the rapper – real name Stephen Manderson – recently sharing a cryptic post about 'sailing ships,' shortly after ex-wife Millie Mackintosh confirmed she has ended her seven-year marriage to Hugo Taylor

The former Made In Chelsea stars, who share daughters Sienna, five, and Aurelia, four, confirmed their separation in January following what has been described as a 'difficult' start to the year.

The rapper, real name Stephen Manderson, was married to former Made In Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh for three years before divorcing in 2016 (pictured together in 2015)

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Green may well have been referencing his former wife and her current separation while sharing a tongue-in-cheek video of a boat colliding with a branch of Barclays bank.

Captioning the meme, he wrote: 'That ship has sailed... not very far it hasn't!'

Green previously revealed he was back in touch with his 'beautiful' ex-wife – almost a decade after their acrimonious divorce.

Appearing on Jamie Laing's Great Company podcast in October, the rapper said he 'trauma bonded' with Mackintosh over their previously undiagnosed ADHD.

He explained: 'If there wasn't that pressure, we may have never got married. It very nearly didn't happen.

'I remember having a conversation with my two best mates, Lewis and Phoenix. "Am I getting cold feet? What's going on here?" And one of them said yes. One of them said, No. I won't put him in it, because it's not their responsibility.

'I made my own decision. We made our decision, and we didn't get married for the wrong reasons. We loved each other.

'It was probably an element of trauma bonding. And it takes a lot to get to a place of going, "I had a significant part in that, 50% at least, because there were two of us in the situation, and it didn't work out."

'But hopefully we can both go forward and find happiness and belonging.'

He also called his ex-wife 'beautiful' as he added: 'There's no resentment in me. She is gorgeous. We were not good for each other at that time.'

Green and Mackintosh finalised their divorce in May 2016, the same week she chose to go public with Hugo Taylor, her former Made In Chelsea co-star boyfriend.

The couple exchanged vows two years later and welcomed their first daughter, Sienna, in 2020, followed by Aurelia in 2021.

In recent years, Mackintosh has been open with her fans about her past struggles with alcohol, which led her to become teetotal and write the book Bad Drunk, as well as her journey in overcoming severe anxiety.

The former TV personality has spoken candidly about how she began binge drinking at a young age while at boarding school, using alcohol to cope with being away from home, bullying and her own insecurities.

Speaking on Brogan Garrit-Smith's podcast Getting There in 2025, Mackintosh said she went through 'a really hard time' when she divorced.

'I think we [Professor Green] both were in our own struggles, and I think we maybe both thought we could fix each other,' she said.

'But we couldn't. And ultimately, we both had our own struggles, and it just magnified it. And it was actually quite toxic.'
