He joined Collider as a News Author in April 2024, was promoted to a Senior position in December 2024, and has written over 3,000 articles for the site, including exclusives relating to Avengers: Doomsday, The Penguin, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, and more. Prime Video has consistently proven to be a major competitor to Netflix, both with its refreshing originals and colossal library of older classics. The streaming service has some of the most entertaining and popular action-heavy TV shows, like Reacher, starring the gargantuan star Alan Ritchson. Prime Video is even home to one of the most successful sci-fi shows in the world with Fallout, an adaptation of the hit video game franchise. Like most other streaming services, Prime Video is always on the lookout for its next success story, especially one that doesn’t require a massive budget. The streamer found this a few years ago with Jury Duty, the mockumentary series centered around Ronald Gladden, a real person who thinks he is sent to court for jury duty, only he’s surrounded by actors.

Jury Duty was a huge hit for Prime Video back in 2023, and the show earned a Season 2 renewal. Now three years later, Jury Duty has officially returned with its second season, which features a similar premise executed differently. Instead of taking place in a courtroom, Jury Duty Season 2, titled Company Retreat, follows Anthony, a temp at a hot sauce company, who attends a corporate retreat. Similar to Jury Duty Season 1, Anthony is the only real person in the group — he’s in a staged environment surrounded by actors. Before new episodes of Jury Duty premiere this Friday, Collider is thrilled to partner with Prime Video to exclusively preview a new sneak peek at the show. The first three episodes of Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat are out now, and Episodes 4 and 5 will air tomorrow, with Episodes 6, 7, and 8 following next Friday, on April 3.

What’s the Best Thing To Watch on Prime Video Right Now?

Prime Video subscribers looking for a great sci-fi movie to watch should look no further than Mercy, which co-stars Chris Pratt and Rebecca Ferguson. Despite mixed reviews, Mercy has been an audience favorite and has climbed to the #1 spot on Prime Video streaming charts in only a few days. The biggest hit series on Prime Video at the time of writing is Invincible, the animated superhero show in the midst of its fourth season. To reach the top spot, Invincible had to take down Young Sherlock, Guy Ritchie’s hit British crime thriller.
