Batman: Caped Crusader pulls from the Dark Knight's early stories, exploring a Gotham City that is taken out from the 1940s to 1960s DC stories. It has the same noir crime story tone of Spider-Noir, with Hamish Linklater's Batman also being more of a detective than a superhero, which is notably more fitting for Bruce Wayne than Spider-Man. This is a very specific path for superhero adaptations to follow, as most of the Marvel and DC movies and shows released these days go for a completely different take, modernizing classic stories. That is even higher than Cage's Spider-Noir, which is currently at a stellar 91% with 96 reviews. Season 2 of the Batman series features the Joker, who was teased at the end of season 1 and is murdering people as he tests his toxin that makes everyone laugh uncontrollably until they die.
