Fallout is coming back sooner than expected.

The Fallout franchise is a multi-billion-dollar post-apocalyptic media empire that evolved from a 1997 RPG into one of the most successful entertainment properties in the world. It has been reported that the games alone have sold over 55 million copies globally, with 2015's release, Fallout 4, surpassing 25 million copies sold. Prime Video brought the game franchise to life in a live-action adaptation that continues to break records and is returning in an unexpected new release.

Fallout is coming back to Prime Video in an exciting new release. A new teaser released by Prime Video has arrived for the series Fallout Shelter: The Experiment, set to arrive on January 13. The first season will consist of 10 episodes, with four of the episodes debuting on January 13, 2027, followed by three episodes weekly. It is a new reality competition series that invites everyday participants to test their skills while going head-to-head in intense trials, trying to win the prize of $1,000,000.

Fallout Shelter (working title) is a new reality competition series based on the hit Amazon drama and computer game of the same name. The dwellers (contestants) live together in a top-secret vault, where they will compete in a series of games that tests the seven core attributes from the Fallout world. Strength, perception, endurance, charisma, intelligence, agility and luck (S.P.E.C.I.A.L).

The series will not only test dwellers’ core attributes, but also their loyalty and alliances. It’s a game of power dynamics, popularity and social strategy which will ultimately result in a huge cash prize, but do you have what it takes to be the most S.P.E.C.I.A.L?
