Adam Blevins began working in the entertainment industry in 2022 as a Staff Writer for Agents of Fandom, where he progressed to Senior Editor and interviewed talent from Marvel Studios, House of the Dragon, and Planet of the Apes. He joined Collider as a News Author in April 2024, was promoted to a Senior position in December 2024, and has written over 3,000 articles for the site, including exclusives relating to Avengers: Doomsday, The Penguin, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, and more. He primarily writes about the latest box office numbers and the hottest movies and TV shows on streaming, while also covering superhero and sci-fi news. He has completed a set visit for The Chosen and even has several months of experience writing Gaming Features at ScreenRant. You can find him on X, LinkedIn, and Muckrack.

It’s been a rough start to the year for Chris Pratt, whose sci-fi movie Mercy with Rebecca Ferguson is shaping up to be a massive flop at the box office. Pratt first blossomed into a star thanks to his blockbuster role in James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy movies, but he truly proved himself a leading man by headlining three Jurassic World movies with Bryce Dallas Howard. Pratt also has the comedy chops that some other actors don’t have, and many fans would argue that he developed this comedic timing with his long-running role in the hit sitcom Parks and Recreation.

Just because Pratt has comedic chops, though, doesn’t mean he uses them in every project. One of Pratt’s more serious projects is The Terminal List, the hit Prime Video series based on the novels of the same name by Jack Carr, who is also heavily involved in the making of the show. The first season of The Terminal List was such a success that it spawned a spin-off show, The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, which focused on Taylor Kitsch’s Ben Edwards. Kitsch’s supporting performance in the first season of the flagship show won over fans everywhere, making him the easy choice for the focus of a spin-off.

Pratt did return briefly to reprise his role as James Reece in the offshoot, which is currently streaming on Prime Video. In fact, despite going off the air months ago, The Terminal List: Dark Wolf is still one of the top 10 most popular shows on Prime Video in several countries around the world. The original Terminal List series is not charting anywhere on streaming right now, but it will likely begin trending upwards as news about Season 2 begins to roll out.

When Does ‘The Terminal List’ Season 2 Come Out?

Prime Video has yet to publicly confirm when The Terminal List Season 2 will be released, but the show wrapped production on its second season near the end of last year. The most likely release window is the second half of 2026, and marketing for the second season is expected to kick off in the coming months. Little is known about the plot of Season 2 at this time, but Pratt will be back for another stint as James Reece.
