Tammin Sursok has revealed the harrowing details of a miscarriage she had in 2017.
The Australian actress, 41, who is based in Nashville, Tennessee, took to Instagram with a heartbreaking video about the terrifying experience.
Tammin, who has two children with her partner Sean McEwen, suffered her first miscarriage in 2016.
She described the miscarriage she experienced the following year as particularly devastating.
'In 2017, I had a bad miscarriage. I went to a routine checkup at 13 weeks and was told there was no heartbeat,' Tammin began her video.
She then shared clips from her ultrasound checkups, with one being from the day she discovered her unborn child was not alive.
'I have some not great news for you,' the medical practitioner said in the video before it cut out.
Tammin continued: 'I started to bleed heavily and was admitted so I could get medical intervention to release my pregnancy.

'If it wasn't for the fast action of my doctors and medical team, I'm not sure I'd be here as a mom [sic] to two beautiful daughters.'
The actress then began to show clips that saw her spending time with her daughters, Phoenix, 11, and Lennon, five, who she shares with husband Sean.
Interspersed through the happy snaps were videos of Tammin crying as she revealed the news of her miscarriage to her followers.
'What is happening right now to women's healthcare in America is terrifying,' Tammin captioned the videos.
'In 14 states, including Texas and Georgia, the government has to evaluate and choose how ill you have to be to get medical help.
'A Texas mother died last week after waiting 40 hours for miscarriage care.'
Now sharing two children, Phoenix and Lennon, (both pictured) with her partner Sean McEwen, Tammin suffered her first miscarriage in 2016, but said the one she experienced the following year was 'bad'
Tammin went on to claim 30,000 more women had come forward with their near-death experiences while awaiting medical attention for their miscarriages.
The former Home and Away star has previously recalled a dream she had after her second miscarriage.
In 2021, she revealed in a candid Instagram post that she had a 'vivid dream' about a baby after losing her unborn child.
'I remember after my second miscarriage I had a dream. It was so vivid that it felt so real. I remember holding a baby,' she wrote.
'She had dark raven curls and big brown eyes. I rocked her quietly and I whispered, "Hi baby, I'm you mama."'
Tammin said: 'I started to bleed heavily and was admitted so I could get medical intervention to release my pregnancy'
She continued: 'When I finally got pregnant [with Phoenix], I found it hard to connect with my pregnancy. I was too afraid.
'When the doctors pulled her from my tummy via C-section and laid her on my chest she looked like the exact baby from my dream.'
Tammin went on to say that 'wherever you are in your pregnancy/fertility journey know that there is always hope even when it feels hopeless'.
'I look at her now and I know she was meant to be here. My big brown eyed, raven haired little girl from my dreams,' she ended.
Tammin welcomed her second child daughter Lennon Bleu in January 2019. She also shares daughter Phoenix with husband Sean.
