Pregnant Sophie Cachia reveals new details about the father of her third child after denying claims her ex Jaryd might be the donor

Pregnant Sophie Cachia has shared new details about the father of her unborn third child, after firmly denying her AFL star ex-husband Jaryd was the dad.

The former WAG, 33, told this week's Stellar magazine she planned on raising the baby as a single mother after conceiving via a sperm donor.

'My family don't know anything about the donor, I chose this because I don't believe it's of any value. This child is mine and mine only,' Sophie told the publication.

'How that child was made or who contributed to that child being made is of no importance. They're an anonymous donor. There is no "dad" title. Where they came from, their background, the donor's height, none of that stuff is important.'

She added that while it was scary to start over as a single mother she was committed to making things work.

Sophie also spoke about her romance with AFLW star Madison Prespakis and said she was excited about their future together.

'Never in a million years did I see myself falling in love. If you'd told me I was going to fall in love with one of my closest friends, I would have laughed at you. '

'For the first time since I left my marriage, I'd gone, "No, it's your turn. This is finally your moment." How could I push that away?'

Sophie already shares a son, Bobby, nine, and a daughter Florence, seven, with Jaryd, who she split from in late 2019.

She recently reverted back to her maiden name Shaw, five years after her divorce from her ex-husband.

While the former WAG retains her ex-husband's surname in her Instagram handle, the name listed on her account is now her own.

The mummy blogger was married to Jaryd, 33, for four years after they tied the knot in October 2015.

The couple officially split in 2019 and Sophie moved on the following year with Alanna Kennedy, a professional soccer player for the Matildas.

However, things weren't meant to be as the pair split in early 2020, just days after they finally went public with their secret romance.

The following year, Sophie struck up another romance with WNBL star Maddie Garrick, with Sophie proposing to her athlete partner in March 2022.

Sadly, the engagement came to an end just eight months later after they were in a long-distance relationship when Maddie moved to Florence, Italy, for work.

Just two months after their split, Sophie began dating AFLW star Sophie Van De Heuval, though they didn't go public until April 2023.

Sophie and Heuvel's relationship lasted a year, with the couple unfollowing each other on Instagram in January.
