Wildly popular children's show Bluey is set to receive its own Lego-themed set in celebration of its tremendous success across the world.

The Lego Group revealed they were working with the makers of the popular Australian show to develop a brick set featuring Bluey characters and locations.

'It has been a long time coming. We believe that this partnership is a match made in heaven for younger builders and families alike,' a Lego spokesperson said in a statement.

'The Bluey brand has play at the heart of everything they do, which aligns perfectly with the Lego brand values and mission.'

The sets will be designed for ages four and up as part of the brand's Duplo range for younger children.

Lego began their movie and TV licenses in 1999, and Bluey will join other popular franchises to be given the brick treatment, including Star Wars, Harry Potter and Jurassic Park.

it follows reports that Bluey was the top dog on Australian TV in 2024 after breaking viewership records on the ABC and ABC iview.

According to a recent ratings survey, the beloved show has been one of the biggest success stories in the States over the last two years.

The children's animated series has been riding high in the top ten shows streamed in the US for a massive 112 weeks.

The figures were compiled by the Nielsen ratings, which tracks viewership in the US, reported the Comicbook website.

According to Nielsen's survey, Bluey has been in the top ten shows streaming in the US since October 2022.

It comes after more than 3.4 million Aussie fans tuned in to watch the last three episodes of the global hit back in April last year.

The numbers are across the five major metro centres and regional areas via broadcast TV.

The ratings surged to 4.8 million with more fans catching up with the three episodes—Ghostbasket, The Sign and the Surprise—on ABC iview.

TV Blackbox reported the Total TV National Reach—which includes viewers from all platforms as well as broadcast TV—for The Sign was 4.4 million viewers.

Bluey triumphed on the ABC's iview kid's channel, drawing a monumental 50.3 million minutes viewed.

The Surprise episode, meanwhile, scored 1.5 million viewers in the overnight metro ratings and a massive 2.6 million fans in Total TV National Reach.

Disney+ recently revealed the season finale of the children's show, called The Sign, turned out to be a massive blockbuster.

The Sign brought the third series of the hit animation to an end, or so fans thought, before creators dropped another surprise episode ahead of the show's planned extended hiatus.

The first 28-minute finale episode drew in a whopping 10.4 million views over one week on the streaming giant.

The ratings make it the biggest premiere for a single episode of Bluey on Disney+ ever, according to industry paper The Hollywood Reporter.

Based on the US Nielsen ratings survey, Bluey was the second most streamed program in 2023 in the States.

Bluey is broadcast in more than 60 countries with all three seasons of the Emmy-award winning cartoon available on ABC iview.

The award-winning animated series first hit screens in 2018 and has since become a favourite for kids and parents.

Last month, BBC Studios and The Walt Disney Company announced they are bringing Bluey's first-ever animated feature film to the big screen, which will be written and directed by the show's creator Joe Brumm.
