Pokmon GO Raid Boss Schedule For November 2024

1 week ago 4

While players might be struggling with the new Gigantamax Battles in Pokémon GO, there are plenty of other events to keep you busy. All throughout the month, players will have access to three 5-Star Raids, six different Max Battles, four different Mega Raids, and a Shadow Raid every weekend. With more weekends this month, you also have more chances to get the Pokémon you want and complete the Raids.

A Variety Of Strengths & Weaknesses

There are three different 5-Star Raid events this month, with eight total Pokemon you will be able to face and catch. This includes the last few days of the current event, in which players still have a chance to catch Darkrai. The first Raid this month will be Lugia, who can also use the Flying-type move Aeroblast. Additionally, the Zamazenta Raid in Pokémon GO is already making a return after being featured last month.

There are a couple of Dragon-types, a few Fairy-types, and one pure Electric-type that will require a different set of moves than the rest. Some of those Fairy-type Pokémon that you used for last month’s Raids should still be relevant, but make sure you have a strong Ground-type too. There are a whopping 6 Mega Raid battles throughout November, giving you plenty of chances to catch new Pokémon you have not managed to before. After that, you will have Mega Salamence, Mega Beedrill, Mega Ampharos, and Mega Altaria last to take us into December. Any of these can be Shiny, which makes the lure of trying to fight them even greater. Many of these have a fair number of counters, but the first Mega Raid Boss will likely be the most challenging as it only has one weakness.

Like with the regular Raid Bosses, Mega Manectric will be difficult, as Electric-types only have a weakness to Ground-types. A Garchomp or an Excadrill is a good option to have against it. If you happen to have a Primal Groudon, that will also make this fight a lot easier. Mega Banette is also a difficult fight if it is still early in the month for you, so make sure you have a team of strong Dark-types to fight against that one.

If you are struggling against these bosses, try to assemble a team and go up against them with as many other Trainers as you can gather . Additionally, recheck your team to make sure there are not any obvious weaknesses and try to include a Healer if possible.

Mega Beedrill is also a potential boss to look out for. While the Beedrill itself has a lot of weaknesses to other types, it can redirect powerful Psychic moves back at you. Make sure you are careful when you use them, and try to save them for a final hit so that you are not in danger of wiping yourself out. Otherwise, a fair number of these Mega Bosses are weak to Fairy-types, so find something like a Mega Gardevoir to help you out.

Max Raid Bosses In November 2024

Original Generation Of Starters Meets Generation 8

Dynamax Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur in Pokemon GO

There are two sets of ongoing Max Battles throughout the month of November running through December 3rd. This includes the original Generation 1 crew of starters from Kanto. However, you will also find Max Raids with the Generation 8 Galarian region starters. This means you will have access to the following Max Raids:

  • Charmander
  • Squirtle
  • Bulbasaur
  • Scorbunny
  • Grookey
  • Sobble

The Max Raids in Pokémon GO typically feature past Starters, although not always, and they are a new type of Raid battle that can be found at various Power Spots. Each of the potential Pokémon will appear in Dynamax form, which can be battled with up to three other Trainers. However, you will also need to build up your own reserves in order to take them out.

With six Pokémon to find and battle, this month has quite the lineup. However, they are also mono-typed, which can make it easier to counter them. You can also always use any of these Pokémon that you catch in your next Max Raid, if you want a strong counter to the one you will be fighting next. You may also want to keep your eye out for Max Mondays in November, which gives you another new mini-event with this lineup.

Shadow Raid Bosses In November 2024

The New Shadow Raid Has A Watery Predisposition

Suicune stands in the middle.

Lastly, Trainers will be able to take on the Shadow Raid Boss Suicune every weekend in November. This is a Legendary, Water-type Pokémon that can pack quick a punch, especially if the weather is favorable. The main moves it will be using are Snarl and Hydro Pump, but the good news is that it is also weak to Electric and Grass-type moves.

If you manage to get your hands on one of the Electric-type Pokémon in the other Raids this month, it will make catching or defeating a Suicune that much easier. Mega Sceptile will be the best counter you could use for this fight, but there are other options with Zekrom, Zarude, and Shadow Raikou. That being said, the Mega Manectric that you have a chance to grab this month will be no less effective.

With all these events and more, players are sure to be kept busy with this month's events. Don’t forget that events like Shadow Raids might require something extra to take part in the fight, such as Purified Gems. Otherwise, find a team and get to training up your Pokémon so that you will be well prepared to take down even the toughest bosses this month in Pokémon GO.
