The new Mythical Island Emblem event is now underway in Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket, testing players' PvP skills. With four coveted Emblems and a variety of additional prizes on the line, players won’t want to miss a single detail of this exciting event. This event builds on the success of the Mythical Island expansion, which introduced a fresh pack filled with exciting new cards, and serves as the third Emblem event for players to sink their time into.
This event will have players combining the newly launched Mythical Island cards along with the trusty Genetic Apex Pokémon they have used in previous events. Regardless on the tactics used, you will want to get started with this event as quickly as possible.
What The Mythical Island Emblem Event Is
Players Must Win Numerous Versus Battles
The Mythical Island Emblem event runs from December 20, 2024, until January 10, 2025, requiring players to compete in PvP TCG Pocket battles against other players. Unlike the previous, often frustrating Emblem event, which required players to achieve consecutive wins, this event simply tasks players with reaching a total number of wins, regardless of streaks. In return for achieving this, successful players will be rewarded with different Emblems, which can be placed on their profile to show off their skills. This event gives you three weeks in order to win these prizes, along with other, just as important rewards.

This will take time, so players are unlikely to be able to grind this on the first day. During this event, you will face incredibly powerful decks, with Mewtwo ex and Celebi ex controlling the current meta. As well as this, an opponent can slow your progress down with a lucky Misty flip. You will need to have patience in order to reach 45 wins.

Various Rewards Are Up for Grabs, Including Eye-Catching New Emblems
There are numerous rewards to earn, with the Emblems being the most highly sought after. There are five Emblems total: the Participation Emblem, the Bronze Emblem, the Silver Emblem, and the Gold Emblem. The more wins you achieve, the higher the quality of the Emblem you’ll earn, with the Participation Emblem only necessitating one win. This then increases progressively to five wins, followed by 25, and ultimately 45.

Players can earn progressively more Pack Hourglasses, ranging from three to 12, by participating in increasing numbers of battles, from one to 10. These can then be used to speed up the timer and open packs. With the Mythical Island Mew Pack being so fresh, there are plenty of cards to collect, and Pack Hourglasses are essential to do this.

Top Tips to Succeed In The Mythical Island Emblem Event
Players Should Take Their Time With This Long Event
There are several approaches players can have to this event, and with there being so many battles to win, the key is to find a strategy that balances consistency, efficiency, and personal playstyle to maximize rewards. Firstly, this event is a marathon, not a sprint. You should avoid trying to win all of these rewards in one go. This could potentially make the event become tedious and less enjoyable. With the time frame being three weeks, there is plenty of time to get each Emblem.
Focus on consistency rather than trying to win all 45 battles in a single day. With three weeks to complete the event, pacing yourself will make it more manageable and enjoyable.
This event will also be full of Pikachu ex and Celebi ex decks. These are both incredibly powerful options for consistent wins, but you may be able to counter this. A Charizard ex Fire-type deck may be the best option to take the meta down and stay winning. Overall, players should approach this event with their best foot forward to earn the top rewards and dazzling Emblems in Pokémon TCG Pocket.
