The Pokémon Trading Card Game is on a roll this year. Riding that speculative wave is one thing, but The Pokémon Company has managed to bring lapsed fans back into the game, thanks to the hype around the franchise's 30th anniversary. They even have a special set planned to mark the occasion, which has the entire community on edge.

This weekend, the Chaos Rising set will debut as part of the Mega Evolution block. In July, we're getting Pitch Black, which could mix up the meta considerably. In other words, the game is as active as ever, and sets continue to flow. It feels like Perfect Order, released back in March, was just getting started.

There are still plenty of drops outside of sets, though. But before any of that happens, you can pick up a limited-edition release for the Pokémon Trading Card Game straight from The Pokémon Center.

Pokemon TCG Chaos Rising ETB booklet, dice, and coin

In a new direct drop, The Pokémon Center has released Pokémon Fossil Museum TCG sleeves, as well as a Pokémon Fossil Museum Binder set. The marquee of this release is "Excavator Pikachu," which adorns pretty much all the accessories in the Fossil Museum line.

Here's everything you can expect from the sleeves: "Keep your Pokémon TCG cards as well-preserved as a Fossil Pokémon with a set of card sleeves featuring key art from the Pokémon Fossil Museum! Excavator Pikachu is front and center, surrounded by many other Pokémon from a bygone era. Dig even deeper and combine this with other items from the Pokémon Fossil Museum collection!"

As for the binder: "Keep your Pokémon TCG cards as well-preserved as a Fossil Pokémon with a zip binder featuring key art from the Pokémon Fossil Museum collection! The back design displays silhouettes of Fossils and Fossil Pokémon on a red-and-blue allover pattern—with Excavator Pikachu on the back center in a logo for the collection, smiling and waving! Dig even deeper and combine this with other items from the Pokémon Fossil Museum collection!"

The binder holds 360 sleeved cards, and the sleeves are 65-count. The binder also sports a Poké Ball zipper pull.

Other accessories that just dropped include an excavator-themed playmat and a double-deck box. If you couldn't tell already, there's even a new Pikachu design that's been explored in this fossil line. I wouldn't mind seeing some of these styles in a future game, even if it's a spinoff.

For now, fans of the Pokémon Trading Card Game can brace for the upcoming Chaos Rising set. Whether you're into accessories or not, there's a lot happening.
