James is a gaming writer from London who has spent thousands of hours exploring titles from every genre. Though he has a particular affinity for multiplayer titles like World of Warcraft, Destiny 2 and League of Legends, he has also put thousands of hours into single-player experiences, from deep RPGs to epic PC strategies. When he's not playing or writing, he can usually be found supporting his beloved Brentford FC.

The Pokémon Legends spin-off series has been quite a nice change of pace from the main franchise, which is in need of a bit of a refresh to really get fans back on board. While we wait to see if Winds and Waves is able to do that, Pokémon Legends: Z-A is still a great place to play, and there's lots going on to keep the experience interesting.

Dropping back in October 2025, Pokémon Legends: Z-A took players to Lumiose City in Kalos, and it has some genuinely nice gameplay systems that the main series should draw lessons from. Though the single-player is largely being left to its own devices from here on out, there are still plenty of new experiences in the multiplayer, including the latest of those, which is set to go away very soon indeed.

Over on the official Pokemon website, you can find the page that breaks down Ranked Battles Season 11, which is set to draw to a close soon, on June 4. That said, there's still plenty of rewards you can pick up just for playing the game, and it's well worth doing if you've got the time over the next few days.

There are three types of rewards that you can pick up if you're quick, in battle rewards, promotion rewards, and season rewards. As you might expect, battle rewards come at the end of each fight with a competitor, and they're generally the least valuable selection of the three. Promotion rewards are granted every time you rank up, while season rewards are given out when all is said and done, and once again depend on where you finish.

The full list of seasonal rewards by rank is as follows:

Rank A

  • Gold Bottle Cap ×3
  • Bottle Cap ×5
  • Seed of Mastery ×3
  • Big Nugget ×1

Rank B to Rank E

  • Gold Bottle Cap ×2
  • Bottle Cap ×3
  • Seed of Mastery ×2
  • Nugget ×2

Rank F to Rank I

  • Gold Bottle Cap ×1
  • Bottle Cap ×2
  • Seed of Mastery ×1
  • Nugget ×2

Rank J to Rank M

  • Bottle Cap ×1
  • Seed of Mastery ×1
  • Nugget ×2

Rank N to Rank R

  • Seed of Mastery ×1
  • Nugget ×1

Rank S and Below

  • Nugget ×1

Meanwhile, you can also pick up Mega Stones for leveling up from Rank Y to Rank S, for Greninjite, Delphoxite, Chesnaughtite, Baxcalibrite, Sceptilite, Swampertite, and Blazikenite, respectively. Though you won't be able to make it to the top of the ladder at this point, Rank S is a very achievable goal in the first instance.

An Alpha Charizard sits next to their Trainer in Pokemon Legends Z-A.

As mentioned earlier, this latest Ranked Battles season draws to a close on June 4, so make sure to get all of your Pokémon Legends: Z‑A multiplayer contests in before then. Failing that, the next season should start relatively soon, though the rewards will be different next time out.
