Pete Wicks joined Jowita Przystał at this year's TV Choice Awards after finding himself caught up in Olivia Attwood's split.
Olivia, 34, broke her silence on her split from husband Bradley Dack in an emotional statement where she admitted she has been 'crying herself to sleep'.
She had raised eyebrows over her closeness to best friend Pete before the breakdown of her marriage, though insisted they were just friends.
On Monday, Pete joined Jowita at the TV Choice Awards, though they arrived separately.
He previously clarified they were just 'friends' following a steamy kiss during a dance together on stage at London's O2 Arena last year during a recording of his podcast with Sam Thompson.
Speaking to the Daily Mail on the red carpet, Jowita, 31, branded it 'such a special moment'.

She explained: 'It was such a special moment, like because I previously performed at the O2 with Strictly, but that was just me and Pete and nobody else and it was quite amazing.
'I think it was one of the biggest performances I've ever actually done so I will be forever grateful to the Staying Relevant team.'
Jowita added before Pete arrived she wasn't sure if he would be in attendance at the ceremony.

Jowita also revealed her future on Strictly is up in the air.
She previously sparked rumours she could be quitting the show, revealed she hopes to return - but confessed she is unsure, as she plans an extensive year of travelling.
She said: 'I mean, I hope so, because I still don't know if I'm back,
'So hopefully I'm back with Strictly, but the tour is coming up, I'm planning a lot of travelling this year. Actually, so, at the moment I'm living out of a suitcase.

'But it's good, because normally I don't really have time to do that. So I think 2026 is the year of travelling for me.'
Meanwhile appearing on her KISS FM radio show, The Sunday Roast, with Pete, Olivia recently shared her plans to have a 'new start' this month.
Marking the start of February, she confessed that it felt like 'January just didn't end', adding: 'I wasn't sure if it would at some point.'
She went on: 'I'm truly having a new start because I've moved into my apartment. Moving was an experience... I didn't realise how much stuff I had!'
