EXCLUSIVE: Comedian Pete Holmes‘ latest special, Silly Silly Fun Boy, is available now via early access on 800 Pound Gorilla and will premiere on YouTube at 8 p.m. ET on Tuesday, March 24.

In the special, Holmes delivers fresh takes on parenting, marriage and more. You can check out a trailer for the hour at the link above.

“I’m very proud of Silly Silly Fun Boy, an hour of pure silliness and fun and… boyness?” he told Deadline. “It’s my favorite special to date. I love the way it looks, the amazing Portland crowd, but most of all I love these jokes and hope people will, too.”

A Boston native who began his career as a stand-up in the early 2000s, Holmes’ previous specials include Impregnated with Wonder (2011) and Nice Try, The Devil (2013) for Comedy Central, Faces and Sounds (2016) and Dirty Clean (2018) for HBO, and 2023’s I Am Not for Everyone, for Netflix. The story of his origins as a stand-up is loosely told in Crashing, a series he created and starred in for HBO, with Judd Apatow exec producing, which ran for three seasons. Holmes also created and headlined TBS’ late-night talk show The Pete Holmes Show, exec produced by Conan O’Brien, and has recently been seen in Anna Kendrick’s Netflix pic Woman of the Hour, as well as Lionsgate’s The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, and Disney’s Home Sweet Home Alone. The host of the podcast You Made It Weird and author of the book Comedy Sex God, he is repped by WME, Independent Artists Media, and Ziffren Brittenham.
