Patsy Palmer cut a sombre figure as she was spotted heading to work in London on Friday as devastating fires continue to sweep her 'hometown' of LA, a year after vowing she would never to live in the UK full time.

The Eastenders actress, 52, moved to Malibu in 2014 along with husband Richard and her children and returns frequently to the UK to film scenes as Bianca Jackson in the BBC soap at Elstree Studios.

Pasty was seen for the first time since admitting the wildfires had left her 'devastated' in an emotional Instagram post, while leaving her hotel.

She cut a casual figure in an oversized aviator jacket which she layered over a green sweater and baggy black joggers.

Make-up free Patsy completed the look with comfy trainers and swept back her long ginger locks into a ponytail.

She carried a shopping bag and large bottle of mineral water as she exited the building looking like she had much on her mind.

She continued: 'I don't think I would live in England again. I would like to experience something else in life but I'm not too sure if I will.
