Cardi B, Tom Brady and More Celebrities at Super Bowl 2026
Win or lose, Stefon Diggs is still celebrating his squad.
After the New England Patriots suffered a stunning 29-13 loss to the Seattle Seahawks during Super Bowl LX, the wide receiver still has faith in his team.
“So proud of the guys,” the 32-year-old told reporters in a post-game interview Feb. 8. “Super proud of my teammates. I wish things could have went another way, can’t do nothing about it now. Hell of a season to our guys.”
Indeed, although his team still had zero on the board by halftime, Stefon shared his coach Mike Vrabel offered encouraging words before going into the remainder of the game.
“At halftime [coach] told us just stay positive,” Stefon told reporters. "Keep rolling with the punches. It was still tight there. All we needed to do was get a drive going, it just happens.”
As for young quarterback Drake Maye? Stefon credited his performance for leading the team through one “hell of a season.”
“It’s hard playing a quarterback,” he shared. “It’s not a one-man band, he has a supporting cast, and we need to do a better job supporting him. He’s young, he did what he could, fought long, fought hard. He did the best that he could.”

He added, as he encouraged his teammate, “Keep going, keep shooting. Steph Curry. Keep shooting, he’s 23 years old. It’s a team effort coming from myself I wish I would have done more.”
As he looks ahead to next season, Stefon—whose girlfriend Cardi B was present during the big game—is feeling optimistic about his return.
“I anticipate being here,” he noted in his post-game interview. "I love my guys. I had a hell of a year playing with them. There’s some family like bonds.”
“I’m happy where I’m at right now,” he added. “And embracing what I got going on here. Just super thankful. Gotta remain graceful.”
