Paris Hilton Reveals Whether She or Carter Reum Is the Stricter Parent
Carter Reum is enjoying the simple life with Paris Hilton.
In fact, the venture capitalist slammed online claims that his four-year marriage to with Simple Life alum—with whom he shares kids Phoenix, 3, and London, 2—has caused him "emotional pain." As for the truth?
"Rest assured my wife @parishilton is my one in a trillion and we’re the happiest and best couple," Carter wrote in a March 19 Instagram comment, responding to a video of Paris turning away from his kiss while posing for photos the 2024 Grammys. "Although I appreciate everyone’s amateur psychology takes as many called out, I just love giving me wife a kiss and she just hates her makeup being smudged on a red carpet."
He added, "It’s not that deep everyone, and yes she loves me to death."
Indeed, Paris has made it clear she’s head-over-heels for Carter, who she first met while in her 20s before reconnecting at a 2019 Thanksgiving dinner. The pair got engaged in February 2021, before marrying in November that year.
"I’ve lived a very unique life in the public eye over the last two decades and throughout the years, I was always searching for my partner," Paris wrote in a 2021 blog following her and Carter's nuptials. "I was looking for my equal. Someone who wasn’t fascinated with 'Paris Hilton' but instead, someone who saw the real me and loved me for me."
"I’m so proud of my love story with Carter, and even more excited that it’s just beginning," she continued, adding that her husband "makes everything feel like a fairy tale."

Their relationship has even helped the "Stars Are Blind" singer work through some of her childhood trauma, which she said led her to have trust issues during adulthood.
"I didn't trust anybody and I had these huge walls around my heart and everything," Paris—who previously dated Chris Zylka, Benji Madden, Nick Carter, Stavros Niarchos and Rick Salomon—shared during a 2021 appearance on The Tamron Hall Show, calling Carter "the man of my dreams."
She added, "I'm just happy I found the perfect partner."
