Paris Hilton's Ex Chris Zylka Facing Felony Charges After Police Incident in Ohio
Chris Zylka is facing legal trouble.
The Amazing Spider-Man actor—whose engagement to ex Paris Hilton ended in 2018 following less than two years of dating—faces felony charges and has a warrant out for his arrest after an alleged altercation with authorities in Warren, Ohio, according to a police report obtained by People Dec. 13.
Police said they found Zylka "foaming at the mouth" in the middle of a busy road on Dec. 4 after receiving calls that he had allegedly attempted to get into several people's cars, per the outlet. The Secret Circle alum also had no shirt or shoes on in 32-degree weather at the time of the incident, and law enforcement officers said he appeared to be in "some sort of delirium state," according to the report.
A team of three officers handcuffed him before paramedics arrived, and authorities said in the report obtained by People that Zylka was struck with a taser, as well as administered ketamine in order to "subdue" him. However, the 39-year-old is no longer in custody and a warrant is now out for his arrest, a Warren Police Department spokesperson confirmed to People Dec. 13.
As for what charges Zylka faces in connection to the altercation? Zylka is facing felony counts of assault and attempt to commit an offense, as well as misdemeanor charges for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and aggravated menacing, per online court records viewed by E! News.
E! reached out to the Warren Police Department and a rep for Zylka for comment but has not heard back.
Prior to the incident, Zylka had been documenting his fitness journey online, with the Shark Night star even hinting at his routine being geared toward achieving a specific goal of competing at the Los Angeles Olympics.

"The past few days I’ve had a lot of people ask what my day in training looks like," Zylka wrote on Instagram Nov. 22. "DO NOT TRY THIS WITHOUT THE PROPER COACHING. I spend about three hours in the gym and a few running as well. #olympics2028."
His passion for the gym marks a notable shift for the Leftovers alum, who previously revealed that his desire to prioritize acting was a huge part of the reason for his split from Paris.
"It's one thing that I actually couldn't live without," he explained on a December 2023 episode of Ned's Declassified Podcast Survival Guide. "It was a huge wakeup call that performance art is super important to me and the camaraderie and the family that you grow on each and every set."
And while he felt like he had to put his career on the backburner while dating Paris—who now shares kids Phoenix, 16 months, and London, 5 months, with husband Carter Reum, who she married in 2021—he didn't feel any resentment about it. As he put it, "I don't regret it."
"She's the one relationship that I've ever had that there was no take," Zylka added. "It was all give. It was really lovely."
