Paris Hilton Reveals Whether She or Carter Reum Is the Stricter Parent

Paris Hilton is keeping it simple when it comes to raising her kids.

Ahead of the 2026 Grammy Awards happening at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles Feb. 1, the Simple Life alum got candid about her parenting style for her and husband Carter Reum’s two kids Phoenix, 3, and London, 2.

“I’m not strict,” Paris exclusively shared with E! News at the Clive Davis’ 2026 Pre-Grammy Gala Jan. 31. “I’m just the fun mom.”

The 44-year-old added, “I love to do art with them, have fun with them.”

And her techniques differ slightly from Carter, as she noted, “They stay up late with me. Carter’s always like, ‘They have to go to bed.’”

In fact, the toddlers are so on the same wavelength as their mom, they were ready to head the Clive Davis party with her when they saw her getting ready.

“They were both saying that they wanna come,” Paris laughed, “so I felt bad ‘cause I was like, ‘You guys can’t come, it’s a party.’”

Luckily, the family will be celebrating soon when they throw a slightly belated birthday party for Phoenix, who turned three on Jan. 16 while the family was out of town.

“Today he asked me, he’s like, ‘When are we planning my birthday party?’” Paris shared. “So we’re going to plan it very soon.”

The socialite already had a theme in mind, taking a cue from her new animated YouTube series Paris & Pups. “It’s based on my life and my puppies,” she explained. “So we’re gonna do that.”

As Paris previously shared, she’s loved getting to see the special bond her children share, especially because they’re so close in age.

“London and Phoenix are the twins that are always connected at the hip,” she told E! News at the January premiere of her new film Infinite Icon: A Visual Memoir. “Phoenix is the best big brother. He's so protective over her.”

And London is just as obsessed with her big brother.

“She just loves and adores and looks up to him so much,” Paris added. “It's really amazing to watch.”
