Pamela Anderson has revealed the truth behind the rumors of her alleged 12-day marriage to producer Jon Peters.
At the beginning of 2020, it was reported that Jon, 79, and Pamela, 57, had tied the knot - only for him to end the relationship via text less than two weeks later.
A source claimed at the time that Pamela and Jon were never legally married, and now she has exposed the true story behind the speculation.
Jon allegedly offered one of Pamela's sons $20 million to persuade her to marry him, the Baywatch bombshell told the Hollywood Reporter.
Knowing Jon was a 'movie producer' and 'very funny,' Pamela did not take the proposal 'seriously' but agreed to have lunch with him.
They met for the meal, 'and then he had a bunch of flowers there and he had everybody, all the family was there - I’ve known his daughters - and it was just a funny moment,' said Pamela. 'But I never married Jon.'

In January 2020, reports circulated that Jon and Pamela held a private wedding ceremony in Malibu, three decades after they previously dated and broke up.
'I could have my pick, but - for 35 years - I’ve only wanted Pamela,' Jon said at the time. 'She makes me wild - in a good way. She inspires me. I protect her and treat her the way she deserves to be treated.'
However, 12 days after the supposed ceremony, Jon purportedly sent her a text ending the relationship, according to Us Weekly.
He allegedly explained that the 'marriage thing' had 'scared' him, adding: 'It made me realize that at 74 I need a simple quiet life and not an international love affair.'
An insider then informed People that Pamela and Jon were never legally married to begin with - a fact Pamela later publicly confirmed herself.
Now, in a new interview, Pamela was asked to name the 'biggest misconception' about her, and she replied: 'That I’ve been married six times instead of four.'
Pamela, who shares her sons Brandon, 28, and Dylan, 26, with her first husband Tommy Lee, then explained that she and Jon were 'never' married.
'I had just come home from France and my son called me. He goes: "You’re not going to believe it. Jon Peters called me. He offered me $20 million if I could get you to marry him." And he was laughing hysterically,' Pamela recalled.

'Obviously, we don’t take Jon seriously. Jon is a movie maker. He is a wonderful person. He’s very funny,' added the legendary 1990s pinup.
Pamela first became acquainted with Jon at a party at the Playboy Mansion in the 1980s, when she was just starting her entertainment career in Los Angeles.
Jon at that point was already famous showbiz figure - in the 1970s, he went from Hollywood hairdresser to well-known industry name thanks to his romance with Barbra Streisand, who made him a producer on her remake of A Star Is Born.
'I knew him at the very beginning. And he’s kind of popped up here and there,' Pamela observed in her new interview, explaining that after he made the $20 million offer to her son, 'we said: "Well, let’s just have lunch with him."'
She continued: 'And this is so funny. We had lunch and then he had a bunch of flowers there and he had everybody, all the family was there - I’ve known his daughters - and it was just a funny moment.'
Pamela clarified: 'But I never married Jon. It was never a marriage, but we were just laughing about that. That’s all that happened. But still people think that I was married to him. So it’s kind of on my list on Wikipedia.'

Last year, Jon said: 'I will always love Pamela, always in my heart. As a matter of fact, I left her $10 million in my will. And she doesn’t even know that. Nobody knows that.'
He added: 'I’m just saying it for the first time with you. I probably shouldn’t be saying it. So that’s for her, whether she needs it or not,' via Variety.
