Pop star Paloma Faith's split from French artist Leyman Lahcine was the inspiration for her album The Glorification Of Sadness, released this year.

She may, however, soon have some more uplifting material, as The Daily Mail has revealed that she is going out with a mystery man.

'I do think I'm ready to find love again,' she told Richard Eden at a London fashion event.

She added: 'I have met someone. He's really nice, and I'm hopeful that it might work.'

The singer, 43, previously said her break-up was due to the pressure of raising their two daughters.

'Our relationship ended because we have those children,' she said. 'And I think that was worth it.'

Paloma Faith has hinted she has found love again with a mystery man following her split from ex Leyman Lahcine (pictured at the Westminster Abbey The Royal Foundation Carol Service: Together at Christmas on Friday)

The singer, 43, who split from her ex Leyman Lahcine, 36, in 2022 after nine years together, is on the hunt for Mr Right, but she won't be settling for someone who doesn't meet her needs (pictured in 2018)

Paloma even paid for a billboard on Lahcine's road to be plastered with her image, explaining: 'So I hope that he looked at me every day and was, like, 's***.'

The couple split in 2022 after nine years together. They welcomed their first daughter in December 2016, followed by their second in February 2021.

And the mother-of-two previously revealed her heartbreak over her split from Leyman 'will be forever' because they have children together.

Speaking to Jamie Laing on his podcast Great Company last month, Paloma opened up about navigating the split as co-parents and her new 'heartbreak album'.

'I think this is ongoing navigation because we have children together,' she said.

'And that's what makes this a different type of heartbreak album. The heartbreak will be forever and the navigation of our relationship changing shape will be forever, probably until we die.'

Speaking about how heartbreak differs when you have children, Paloma said: 'Some people sort of, you know, just because you don't see them, some people never speak again.

'And they're still very present because you look at your kids and you see that person in your kids or they come back from visiting your ex partner and they're doing the mannerisms or they've got opinions that you don't agree with it or their opinions or whatever.'

'I do think I'm ready to find love again,' she told Richard Eden at a London fashion event. She added: 'I have met someone. He's really nice, and I'm hopeful that it might work'

Back in May it was reported that Paloma was once again on the hunt for love and had signed up to the celebrity dating app Raya.

The Sun revealed Paloma had created a five point checklist as she set out the tough criteria her next partner will need to meet.

Paloma is not interested in dating men under 5ft 11ins, mummy's boys or Tories, and would also rather avoid UGG boot wearers and men who take more than 25 minutes to get ready to go out.

She wrote on her profile: 'You need to be able to laugh at yourself and me. I am brutally honest, fun and wear my heart on my sleeve.'

Paloma shares two daughter, seven and three, with her former partner and is not prepared to extend her maternal instincts onto any potential boyfriends.

She added: 'If you want a mother figure please don't bother, I have two kids already.'

The star also requested: 'I know this is horrific to say but 5.11ft is my minimum height requirement.'

Her final point requires the man to be working on himself through therapy as she added: 'If you haven't done or aren't doing therapy, no thank you.'
