'Summer House' Stars Reveal "Red Flags" They Saw Before Paige DeSorbo & Craig Conover Breakup

Paige DeSorbo has no time for lackluster guys.

Weeks after the Summer House star called it quits on her three-year relationship with Southern Charm’s Craig Conover, she seemed to take a subtle jab at her ex by liking a social media message with a hot take on men.

“i'm so bummed to be single,” the Instagram post read. “how will i ever find another guy who brings absolutely nothing to the table.”

Despite engaging with the cheeky post, Paige, 32, spoke highly of the 35-year-old when she announced their split in December.

“I think he is one of the best people I’ve met in my entire life,” she said on her and Hannah Berner’s Giggly Squad podcast at the time. “I will remain the biggest fan for him and want the best for him, and he truly will get the best, because he is the best. But, with that said, I think it is the right decision for both of us.”

Paige, who has since denied rumors that she cheated on Craig with Saturday Night Live’s Marcello Hernandez, was also optimistic that she and her former partner would remain on good terms moving forward.

“I think we will remain friends,” she continued. “No one did anything. It wasn’t a bad thing. I think we both were just being really mature and saying what we want and what we didn’t want, and I think that’s extremely powerful to be able to voice how you’re feeling in real time and what you want for your future.”

And while Craig later admitted he was “very shocked” by the breakup, he assured fans he was coping as best he could.

“I'm still processing everything, which is normal,” he said in a video posted on his Instagram Stories in January. “I mean, three-year relationship, it's your best friend who you talk to all day, every day and then they're just gone. So one day I'll be able to talk more on it, but right now I just wanted to thank everyone for their kind messages.”

Following months of split speculation, Paige announced over the 2024 holidays that she and Craig had officially split after three years of dating.

“No one did anything. It wasn’t a bad thing,” Paige said during her Dec. 30 Giggly Squad podcast episode. “I think we both were just being really mature and saying what we want and what we didn’t want, and I think that’s extremely powerful to be able to voice how you’re feeling in real time and what you want for your future.”

The influencer also shot down rumors of cheating between her and the Southern Charm star and insisted the parting of ways was amicable.

“I think he is one of the best people I’ve met in my entire life,” Paige continued.  “I will remain the biggest fan of him and want the best for him, and he truly will get the best because he is the best.”

Craig Conover Addresses the Split

Over a week after the breakup news went public, Craig shared his side of the story.

"This has all been very, very unexpected, to say the least," Craig said in a video shared to Instagram Jan. 7. "I was very shocked and it's ok, it takes two people to be in a relationship. You can't control other people you can only control how you react to it."

That said, Craig also wants everyone to extend grace to his now-ex.

"I'm still processing everything, which is normal, I mean, three-year relationship, it's your best friend who you talk to all day, every day and then they're just gone," he noted. "So one day I'll be able to talk more on it but right now I just wanted to thank everyone for their kind messages."
