Craig Conover Breaks Silence on "Unexpected" Paige DeSorbo Split
She came all this way, had to explain, direct from Paige DeSorbo.
Less than two weeks after the Summer House starshared that she and Craig Conoverbroke up after three years of dating, Paige addressed speculation that she cheated on him with Saturday Night Live star Marcello Hernandez.
"I don't care about any rumor that is ever said about me," Paige said on the Jan. 7 of herand Hannah Berner's Giggly Squad podcast. "The only thing that I was like, 'OK, can't let this go by,' was because it was a third party involved—people saying that I cheated on Craig with Marcello."
The 32-year-old admitted that she "died laughing" because of how absurd the rumor was, but reached out to Marcello in case he caught wind of it, adding, "What if he has a girlfriend?"
And messaging the comedian was stressful for Paige, as she revealed to Hannahthat the only time she'd ever texted Marcello one-on-one was to ask him to get her into an SNLafterparty so she could meet ShaneGillis.
"I was like, ‘Hey, just want to let you know, there was a rumor going around that I cheated on my boyfriend with you,'" Paige recalled. "And he was just like, 'F--k yeah,'"
Marcello then sent her screenshots he was getting from social media users, accusing him of breaking up Paige and Craig, with messages like, "‘We f--king hate you now.'"

"I was like, 'Marcello, I'm so f--king sorry. This is so embarrassing,'" Paige continued. "And no one involved was defending me, which I found interesting."
Last month, Paigeshared the news that she and Craig, 35, had broken up, noting that the split was amicable and describing the Southern Charm star "one of the best people I've met in my entire life."
"No one did anything. It wasn't a bad thing," she explained. "I think we both were just being really mature and saying what we want and what we didn't want, and I think that's extremely powerful to be able to voice how you're feeling in real time and what you want for your future."
"I was very shocked and it's OK," he added, "it takes two people to be in a relationship. You can't control other people, you can only control how you react to it."
Craig noted that he was "still processing everything," saying that one day he'd "be able to talk more on it," but for now he was very grateful to "everyone for their kind messages."
