Furniture shopping can be a daunting task for even the most seasoned home designers, especially if you're looking to purchase a new sofa or armchair. From measuring a space to determine your preferred couch size to narrowing down the best fabric options for your home, you have to take a lot into consideration. That's why whenever our editors discover a furniture brand that consistently delivers on style, comfortability, and perhaps most important of all, price — especially during its Presidents' Day sale offering up to 40 percent off and free ground shipping — we develop a certain loyalty to the retailer.
Albany Park is one of many such brands — and with a reputation for making the "internet's comfiest sofa," it's not hard to see why. After being frustrated because she struggled to find high quality furniture pieces that were reasonably priced and well-made, Jessica Ross, Albany Park's founder, started the brand with a desire to stand out from traditional direct-to-consumer labels or designer showrooms. Today, Albany Park is hailed as one of the internet's premier destinations for shopping long-lasting furniture that epitomizes modern luxury at affordable price points.
From comfortable sectionals and armchairs to loveseats and extra-deep sofas, the brand offers models that are perfect for all types of shoppers, regardless of their home's size, design style, or even the season of life they find themselves in. To test the full depth of Albany Park's inventory, we tasked four editors with trying out some of the brand's bestselling models, along with a few new launches. From a cozy bouclé chair that's become a staple in one PS editor's office to a plush sectional that's primed for lounging, here are our picks. Keep reading to see our full review of Albany Park furniture.

For Small Spaces
Albany Park Lido Armchair ($874, originally $1,344)
"Struggling to decorate an unused corner in my home, I went the armchair-route and decided to give this new launch from Albany Park a try. For years, my colleagues have raved about Albany Park's popular furniture pieces, which blend timeless silhouettes with more updated (and noticeably cozier) designs. Unlike other armchairs, this model is contract-grade and built with a lasting durability — as evidenced by my friend's gentle giant of a dog who wasted no time making himself comfortable in the piece (who can blame him?).
The Lido Armchair is incredibly deep and spacious, with enough sitting room so that you can comfortably lean back and lounge on the model. Similar to other Albany Park furniture, it's also easy to customize. With 10 different fabric choices (including this plush bouclé option) and four leg finishes, you can make the armchair entirely your own, all while having it delivered in only a few weeks.
I love that the comfortable armchair not only serves as a stylish addition to my office space, but it also adds a practical seating option for guests that feels elevated in every sense of the word — and still costs less than $1,000. What's not to love?" — Kyley Warren, assistant editor, Shopping

PS Photography | Anvita ReddyFor Something Supportive
Albany Park Barton Sofa ($1,463, originally $2,251)
"Albany Park's Barton Sofa is truly made to elevate your space, managing to pull off a relaxed and sophisticated vibe at the same time. I got the Sand Basketweave fabric, which is a stain-resistant option composed of a polyester linen blend, and it feels so soft. There is almost a suede fuzziness to it that makes it look and feel luxurious. The simplistic and minimalist design of this sofa is a big win for me since it's a timeless piece that can complement a wide range of spaces.
The sofa is also spacious and perfect for hosting guests. You can comfortably fit three to four people on each of the giant cushions, which I credit to its sleek look.
However, the biggest plus point for me is how comfortable and supportive the Barton model is, especially for my back. I suffer from back and neck pain, so sofas that are excessively soft and plush can cause a lot of discomfort. The Barton truly makes lounging a relaxing experience without causing any back pain; in fact, the couch alleviates it." — Anvita Reddy, assistant editor, Shopping

Albany Park Kova L-Shape + Ottoman ($3,006, originally $5,010)
"Albany Park was kind enough to send me the Kova Sectional to try out for myself, and I can't tell you how much I honestly, truly love it. I never want to leave it. In fact, I'm writing this article while sitting on it at this very moment. My boyfriend and I spend our nights sprawled out on this sectional (because yes, there's plenty of room for both of us to completely lie down if we want) — it's perfect for binging hours of a show, taking a nap, or working from home. We can even move the ottoman to the center of the couch if we want more of a bed-style way of relaxing.
Beyond the comfort level, this design is incredibly well-made; the quality of the structure and fabric is impressive. When the boxes arrived, it took us about 30 minutes in total to build the sofa and have it completely put together. Locking in each piece is quite simple, and I like that if we decide we want to make it even bigger, we can purchase more pieces." — Macy Cate Williams, former content director, Shopping
