Ewan is Deputy Editor for ScreenRant's gaming section. He still quite hasn’t gotten out of his mid 00’s emo phase, and knows more about The Legend of Zelda and Doctor Who than is probably healthy.

Ewan oversees the content operation of ScreenRant's gaming output, working with a talented team of writers and editors to cover everything from the latest GTA 6 news to the indie games you need on your radar.

Former Editor of GAMINGbible, Ewan also has words at Kotaku, Den of Geek, NME, and UNILAD. He's appeared on various podcasts, including VGC's and BBC's Let's Talk About Tech.

Order of the Sinking Star, the new game from Braid creator Jonathan Blow, has officially been confirmed for Nintendo Switch 2. First announced during The Game Awards last year, this is an ambitious new open-world puzzle adventure coming to PC via Steam and, now, Nintendo Switch 2.

While there's no concrete release date at the time of writing, a press release tells us the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game will be released "later this year" alongside the Steam version. It's also been confirmed that Order of the Sinking Star will launch with full support for Steam Deck.

"We're very happy to bring Order of the Sinking Star to Nintendo Switch 2," said Jonathan Blow, Founder of Thekla, Inc. and award-winning game designer behind Braid and The Witness. "The game is huge and has many, many puzzles, so Switch 2's portability is really nice here; you can just pick it up and play it in short bursts or really dive in for a long time.”

“We’re entering the Switch 2 space in a major way with our first release for the platform being Order of the Sinking Star,” said Yoon Im, CEO of publisher Arc Games. “Ever since the console was announced, we’ve been looking forward to the chance to bring one of our games to the platform. With Switch 2’s impressive features, including its instant-resume features, we believe it makes it the perfect home for this innovative puzzle adventure from the incredible team at Thekla, Inc.”

By all accounts, Order of the Sinking Star is indeed a massive game. ScreenRant recently spoke to Jonathan Blow, and learned that the upcoming adventure has well over 1,000 unique puzzles across a world split into four distinct sections. Each of the world's sections is based around a specific mechanic and puzzle systems, but as you unlock more of the world, these systems bleed into one another and work together in surprising ways. If you loved Braid and The Witness, you'll definitely want this on your radar.
