Netflix released Olivia Rodrigo: GUTS World Tour one year after the Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour premiere in theaters, and the newer movie has one important thing that the older one was missing. Olivia Rodrigo kicked off the GUTS World Tour on February 23, 2024, in Palm Desert, California, and as of the writing of this article, it's still ongoing. As its name suggests, the GUTS World Tour centers around Rodrigo's second studio album, GUTS. However, the concert incorporates songs from the singer-songwriter's first album, Sour, too.

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour was filmed at three separate concerts at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, from August 3 to 5, 2023. During those shows, HAIM opened for Taylor Swift. Since HAIM is featured on one of Swift's songs on evermore, "no body, no crime," the four women would perform it every night that the rock band was an opener. However, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour cut "no body, no crime" from the movie's final cut, which frustrated many viewers. Roan joined Rodrigo onstage during her shows in Los Angeles.
