Olivia Attwood takes a swipe at her mother-in-law as she says that 'weddings do something to them' in podcast recorded hours after her split from husband Bradley Dack

Olivia Attwood took a swipe at her mother-in-law by declaring that 'weddings can change them,' in a podcast recorded just hours after her split from husband Bradley Dack was revealed.

On Saturday it was reported that the Love Island star, 34, had ended her marriage to the footballer just two years after they tied the knot, with sources since sharing they're already 'heading for divorce'.

Following her first sighting since the split, Olivia appeared to discuss her relationship with Bradley's mother on her podcast with pal Pete Wicks, The Sunday Roast.

The pair were discussing the recent fall-out from Brooklyn Beckham's bombshell statement where he accused his mother Victoria of 'hijacking' his first dance with his wife Nicola Peltz at their 2022 wedding.

Pete noted that Victoria's pal Marc Anthony had sparked the incident by calling the designer the 'most beautiful woman in the room' and inviting Brooklyn to the stage to dance with her.

Olivia then said: 'That to me, cynically was not an accident, he's doing his friend Victoria a little like "OK [Nicola's] family is super powerful and it's all about her family and their house" and I'm going to give you a little moment.'

As Pete said: 'F**k her it's not like it's her wedding,' Olivia then added: 'My sister and I have been married, I need to be careful, weddings do something to mothers, there's a chemical change in their brain that happens when their son or daughter gets married.'

Poking fun at Olivia's comments, Pete addressed his pal's own mother by commenting: 'Hi Jen hope you're well!'

Olivia then added: 'Across the board it's just massively inappropriate and it just feels like two massive families who are just basically, arguing who are the most important in that day or the most powerful.'

It comes as sources also told the Daily Mail that Olivia and Bradley's relationship is over 'for good' and they're heading for divorce after the Gillingham FC player 'breached her trust'.

Olivia had previously been based in Cheshire with the footballer but moved to a flat in the capital in the wake of rumours their marriage was on the rocks.

The couple first met in 2015, before Olivia, 34, rose to fame on Love Island in 2017 - a show she signed up to after discovering Bradley, 32, had cheated during the early months of their romance.

They later reconciled months after Olivia's fling with former co-star Chris Hughes ended, and Bradley proposed during a romantic Dubai getaway in 2019.

However, sources now claim that, two years after tying the knot at London's Bulgari Hotel, the relationship is 'over for good' and the pair are heading towards divorce.

The This Morning presenter, who also fronts her own dating series Bad Boyfriends, inspired by Bradley's past behaviour, was pictured on Sunday as she arrived at the KISS radio studios to host her show alongside co-star Pete Wicks.

A source revealed: 'Olivia and Bradley have had a long relationship full of ups and downs.

'They have always managed to overcome any problems between them, including distance, their busy careers, and, in the past, betrayals from Bradley's side.

'But after meeting over a decade ago, Bradley's recent breach of trust, which came as a complete shock to Olivia, has led them to end their marriage.

'After being on and off at the start of their romance, some people have questioned whether this breakup is temporary, but it's definitely not.

'Olivia knows now is the time to move on for good, and while it's heartbreaking for her, she believes it's the only way to end their marriage on the best terms possible.'

The ITV documentary maker has been open with her fanbase over the past year about the struggles she has faced in her marriage.

She admitted the couple had endured a 'challenging' six months when asked about their relationship in September, shortly after she was pictured looking close to podcaster Pete Wicks on a boat in Ibiza.

Olivia explained that as her career continued to soar, with recommissions of all her TV shows including Getting Filthy Rich, it took priority in her relationship, and she and Bradley were constantly trying to navigate their busy schedules.

She told the Daily Mail: 'Me and Brad never pretend to have a perfect relationship, we have been up, down, left, backwards, and the last six months have been really challenging for us.

'My work and his work take precedence over everything, we have to navigate our relationship all the time.

'It's the boring side of being an adult in a long term relationship, we constantly have to work at it and that's just the truth.

'No one else really wants to say that part out loud but it is difficult at times.

'It's great to post a picture on Instagram but we're transparent people and it's not always like that, there are ups and downs, there are things on his side which haven't been great, there's a mix of things.

'I have messed up and done stuff, Brad has messed up. It's really easy to pretend you're perfect but no one is if you just dig a little deeper.'

The couple moved out of their Cheshire home in December, sparking fears their relationship was in an even worse state than Olivia had previously suggested.

However, the plan was for them to buy a new property closer to London following Bradley's move to Gillingham F.C., and Olivia's increasingly busy schedule, which requires her to be in the capital regularly.

The star celebrated Christmas at London's The Corinthia hotel because Olivia was struggling mentally with dealing with boxes and suitcases at their new property over the festive period.

Shortly before the breakup was revealed, Olivia travelled to Germany with her family to celebrate her father's birthday, but her husband did not join her for the trip.

Some eagle-eyed fans noticed Olivia wasn't wearing her wedding ring during the festivities, as she continued posting TikToks with her siblings.

Since the split, Olivia has also unfollowed Bradley on Instagram. She had already spent months avoiding posting photos of them together because she didn't want to give fans the impression that everything was fine in their relationship.
