A familiar face from Yellowstone is returning to the Taylor Sheridan universe in the upcoming fourth season of Tulsa King, and a first-look photo has just been released.

The crime drama debuted in 2022 and is about to premiere a brand-new season with returning cast members Sylvester Stallone, Martin Starr, Jay Will, Annabella Sciorra, Vincent Piazza, Neal McDonough, Kevin Pollak, Garrett Hedlund and Dana Delany. Throughout the series, Stallone's Dwight Manfredi has been building up his criminal empire, which will continue this fall.

Joining Stallone and the rest of the cast for Tulsa King season 4, which premieres October 16, is Gretchen Mol, who is playing a politician named Amanda Clark. Her casting was first announced last November, but Paramount has now unveiled a first-look image of the actress in character on Tulsa King.

The photo shows Amanda holding a folder to her chest as she looks off-screen. McDonough's character, Cal Thresher, can be seen in the background standing in a door frame.

In a second photo from the new season, Cal has a smirk on his face, as the businessman-turned-politician, who won the governor's race last season, looks into doing whatever is necessary to get ahead.

Tulsa King marks Mol's first major Sheridan TV series since appearing in the very first season of Yellowstone as Evelyn Dutton, John Dutton's late wife who died from a horrible incident while riding a horse.

Before Yellowstone, the actress had starred in Boardwalk Empire, Mozart in the Jungle, Nightflyers and 3:10 to Yuma. Her most recent TV credits include Perry Mason and American Gigolo.

Now, after eight years, Mol has returned to the Sheridan universe. Aside from Cal's election win, Tulsa King season 3 also ended with Jeremiah Dunmire's defeat, FBI Agent Musso bowing to Dwight's demands, and Samuel L. Jackson's Russell Lee Washington Jr. making his debut before starring in the Tulsa King spinoff Frisco King.

Before that spinoff debuts, though, Tulsa King season 4 is almost here, as Dwight works to keep his empire intact, despite facing opposition from politicians and other enemies. Dwight will be forced to reckon with his decisions and decide whether the ambitious nature of his goals was all worth it.

In the end, his past in New York helps inform the present, as the dangerous battles being waged in Tulsa continue, and Dwight becomes a bigger threat than he's ever been before.

Aside from Yellowstone and Tulsa King, Sheridan has also created 1883, Mayor of Kingstown, 1923, Lioness, Landman and The Madison. His next series, Frisco King, is being developed just as he's about to depart Paramount for NBCUniversal. His shows will continue on, though, and that includes the return of Tulsa King this fall.
