Meanwhile, another insider revealed Noel, 57, is working on new material and could potentially invite Liam, 51, to record some vocals.

Now, showbiz insiders have revealed it is highly likely that the kings of Brit-pop will add an extra two dates at Croke Park the following weekend on August 23 and 24.

Thousands of fans were left devastated after being unable to access Ticketmaster, Gigs and Tours and SeeTickets.

Some were forced into a queue just to join the waiting room, while others reported getting kicked out of the ticket sales websites as they got to the front.

Furious punters - branding themselves 'real' fans - claimed they have lost out on the chance to see the Britpop band's comeback tour to youngsters who 'only know Wonderwall'.

It comes after Noel reportedly 'caved in and agreed' to the Oasis reunion during a string of late-night phone calls with brother Liam, during which they ended their 15-year feud

The sibling's fractious relationship came to a head in 2009, after a backstage fight in Paris led to Noel leaving the iconic Britpop band.

In recent years, Liam has been keen to make amends with his brother and reform Oasis, but his older brother poured cold water on the idea.

But as Liam closed his set at Reading Festival he teased that an announcement could be made on Tuesday at 8:00am. A short clip of a sign in the style of the Oasis logo was projected on a large screen above the stage and subsequently shared to Oasis and Liam's official Instagram and X accounts.

The duo announced on Tuesday they are set to come together on stage for the first time in 15 years to perform across the UK and Ireland.

The pair are expected to earn a huge £50 million payday from the shows, with the first show set to take place in Cardiff on July 4.
