Why it matters: Laptop variants of Nvidia's RTX 5090, 5080, 5070 Ti, and 5070 have recently appeared in benchmarks, store listings, and on Nvidia's website, but information regarding the 5060 and 5050 remains scarce. Although laptops featuring the company's upcoming entry-level GPUs haven't emerged on Western storefronts, Chinese retailers have offered clues regarding their VRAM configurations.

Razer, LG, and Lenovo have presented early glimpses at the upcoming RTX 5060 and 5050 laptop graphics cards. The mainstream and entry-level products are the last members of the RTX 50 series that Nvidia has yet to unveil, but reports indicate they could break cover within days.

Outlets recently benchmarked the 2025 Razer Blade 16 laptop with the flagship mobile RTX 5090, discovering that it is effectively a desktop 5070 with double the VRAM. Razer's US website notes that the laptop is configurable with up to a 5090 but doesn't specify other GPUs. However, the Blade 16's Chinese store page lists all customization options.

The ultra-thin gaming laptop is available with an RTX 5090, 5080, 5070, 5070 Ti, or 5060. The VRAM options indicate that the 5060 comes with only 8GB of GDDR7 VRAM, the same as its predecessor.

Meanwhile, promotional materials for the 2025 LG gram and Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5 reveal optional RTX 5050 dedicated graphics. LG's page confirms that it will include 8GB of VRAM, a minor upgrade over the laptop 4050's 6GB, and prior reports indicate that the mobile 5050 is the only RTX 50 series GPU that sticks with GDDR6 VRAM.

Here's what appears to be a 5060 Ti benchmark. Judging by the score (since this is run at 4k), it appears to sit just under where a 3080 Ti would score.

That aside, I can confirm that the device ID does indeed match a 5060 Ti. Not sure if 16 or 8gb SKU though... pic.twitter.com/HGflctXbDp

Additionally, the description in Lenovo's unboxing video (shown above) affirms that this year's IdeaPad Pro 5 draws 135W total with up to 70W going to the CPU, leaving around 65W for the 5050. Whether the 5050 will feature the same TGP in all laptops remains unclear, but the wattage is significantly below the 5060's 115W, which was confirmed last year by Wu Haijun, chairman of manufacturer Hasee. The 5060's performance might resemble the 4070.

Nvidia is expected to reveal mainstream and entry-level RTX 50 series products starting with the desktop 5060 Ti on April 16. After the GPU made its benchmark debut on FurMark, tipster Richard Huynh confirmed the score's authenticity, comparing it to a 3080 Ti. The 5060 Ti will have 8GB and 16GB versions, featuring 4,608 CUDA cores, a 2,407 MHz base clock, 2,572 MHz boost clock, and a 180W power draw.
