Kim Kardashian's Daughter North West Reveals Which Piercing She's Not Allowed to Get
North West doesn't think anything about her style is dark or twisted.
As the 13-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye "Ye" West continues to explore her personal expression through piercings, black clothes, spiked jewelry and blue hair, she pushed back on negative comments about her looks.
"Stop saying I'm demonic just because I like to dress this way," North said in a recent TikTok Live alongside the SKIMS founder, shared on social media. "Don't judge a book by its cover."
Kardashian—also mom to kids Saint, 10, Chicago, 8, and Psalm, 7, with West—said it was likely because of the black grills the teen was wearing during the live, as well as her piercings. However, she also emphasized that what people think about her style doesn't matter.
North also revealed that she wore a white Lolita-inspired outfit at her first headline concert at The Vic Theatre in Chicago in September in response to these assertions.
"I was like, if I'm gonna do my first show ever, I gotta come in like an angel in all white," she explained. "You guys know I'm not on that demon stuff. I believe in Jesus. That's how I came to show you guys I'm actually a light, not dark."
Kardashian admitted that she was surprised that North's look for the event was a message to critics.
"I didn't even know that symbolism," she told her daughter. "I didn't know that was why you wanted to wear white."
Nevertheless, the 45-year-old is used to everyone keeping up with her and her family's personal life, for better or for worse.

"Isn't it funny—well, not funny—but crazy, when you see things and people say something about a narrative about your life and then it's just so the opposite," she posited. "They think they know and say it. It's so crazy."
When it comes to North, Kardashian emphasized that she's remained true to her aesthetic since she was a kid.
"When she was a baby, dropping her off at school, all she wanted was her septum pierced and her eyebrow pierced," she recalled. “She would do like a double brow in pre-K, going in with fake piercings."
And Kardashian has always been happy to let North express herself however she wants.
"I'm like, 'Babe, if you want blue hair, it is what it is,'" she said on Call Her Daddy in October 2025. "It makes her so happy. I would never take that creative away from her."
