No Man's Sky has come a long way since its release over a decade ago back in 2013, with countless updates over the years that have transformed the experience into one of the most massive and unique open-world sci-fi games ever created.
While there's plenty of No Man's Sky content to keep old players coming back and new players hooked, fans will also be interested in checking out an official April 2026 release that's available to purchase now (via Insert Coin).
No Man's Sky Gets Official New Release This Month
No Man's Sky is back thanks to a new line of officially licensed gear from Insert Coin Clothing, featuring The Traveller jacket and Atlas T-shirt. The Traveller jacket is an Infinite Blue-colored, 100% polyester "astronaut's jacket" with various No Man's Sky-themed patches and an embroidered Atlas on the back.
The Atlas T-shirt is an all-black 60/40 cotton-polyester blend featuring the iconic Atlas symbol on the right breast and a large Atlas on the back. The Traveller jacket is listed for $94.91 USD, while the Atlas T-shirt runs $27.91 USD, and both are available for pre-order now with an expected ship date of April 2026.
While this new line of No Man's Sky merch won't be everyone's cup of tea, there's still a lot to look forward to from Hello Games and Sean Murray in the coming months. Fans are likely to continue receiving new major updates to No Man's Sky similar to the most recent launch of the Remnant v6.2 free content update, introducing features like gravitational multi-tool weapons, industrial waste cleanup, and customizable corvette-class starships.
But perhaps the biggest burning No Man's Sky-related question on fans' minds at the moment is around Sean Murray's exciting new open-world fantasy game, Light No Fire.
Is Light No Fire Coming Anytime Soon?
Hello Games founder Sean Murray has yet to release any concrete details on the official launch window for Light No Fire, the open-world fantasy follow-up to No Man's Sky that fans are hoping sees a 2026 release. Unfortunately, while Murray has teased various updates for No Man's Sky that often get interpreted as teasers for Light No Fire, solid information on the latter's development status is notoriously hard to come by.
That said, a late-2026 release would be a controversial timeframe choice for the launch of a massive open-world fantasy game, putting Light No Fire within eye-shot of Grand Theft Auto 6, Fable, and even games like The Blood of Dawnwalker and the possible release of a remake of Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
Regardless, hype is at an all-time high for No Man's Sky fans, and the future of Hello Games and Light No Fire is extremely promising.
