She’s made headlines for her weird and whacky trends in the kitchen.
Now Nigella Lawson has revealed this year she will be decorating her tree with bacon, as she ditches the turkey for rashers.
On Sunday night the award winning cook, 64, shared images of her newly decorated festive tree to her followers.
Decorated in multiple pink rashers of bacon, she said: ‘Behold my beautiful bacon-ornamented tree!’.
Promising fans they weren’t real, she confirmed: ‘Since I posted a recipe for edible Christmas tree decorations just the other day, you could be forgiven for thinking I’ve actually hung real rashers of crisp streaky bacon on my tree this year, but these are in fact actual ornaments – and I’m crazy about them!
‘Some time ago, I started giving one food-focused ornament a year to a friend, and it’s grown into rather a lovely tradition, I feel – the Christmas equivalent of getting charms for a bracelet.’

In response, a fan then asked what was sitting on the top of her tree this year, to which she replied: ‘My KitchenAid whisk attachment!’.
Since posting and tagging the small £14.99 ornaments, they have sold out on the website Sous Chef.
Other fans were quick to show how much they loved the decorations, ‘They are fantastic, and I absolutely love food-focussed Christmas decorations,’ one fan said.
Another fan commented: ‘Nigella, nobody would judge you for putting real bacon on your tree… I think we’d probably love you even more…’.
Her festivities come after Lawson was spotted with a new mystery man last month.
The pair were pictured after a dinner together out in London.
Ms Lawson was married to journalist John Diamond, before he tragically died of throat cancer aged just 47.
Three years after John passed away, Nigella married wealthy art collector and advertising agency founder, Charles Saatchi, in 2003. But their marriage broke down after 10 years.

Despite liking bacon, for the Christmas period Ms Lawson has signed up to be the face of Greggs bakery this Christmas.
However, while she has agreed to film an advert with the brand, the star reportedly won't be endorsing the brand's famous sausage rolls.
The chain's festive menu is usually much-anticipated. Its mince pies are already in store, but it has not yet announced when the seasonal bakes will be on sale.
And this year they may sell like hotcakes as Nigella has an impeccable reputation for boosting sales.
In 2006, when she recommended goose fat as essential for the perfect roast potato, sales doubled at Waitrose and Tesco. And after using prunes in a recipe on Nigella's Christmas Kitchen, Waitrose said sales of the dried fruit rose by 30 per cent.
Nigella and Greggs may have more in common than first meets the eye, as enjoy both unrivalled culinary success. Earlier this year, Greggs topped a poll for being the most popular fast-food chain in the UK, with its legendary sausage roll leading the pack.
Nigella also has a popular sausage roll recipe, which includes chestnuts, nutmeg and dried sage.
With 11 cookery bestsellers since her first hit, How To Eat, was published in 1998, she also has several successful TV shows to her name, including Nigella's Christmas Kitchen.
Her pronouncements on food and domestic drudgery always draw attention – she never irons, she has admitted, prefers chocolate cake to Christmas cake, and once faced ridicule for (deliberately) mispronouncing microwave as 'meecrowahvay'.
Most recently, she divided the nation when she revealed that she loved eating anything in bed which could be consumed with fingers or a spoon.
Whether that will extend to Greggs sausage rolls this Christmas is anyone's guess.
