She added: 'I'm right now going, "Yes, I'll be at the parent-teacher conference tomorrow night."'

Nicole, 57, stars alongside Liev Schreiber in The Perfect Couple and she relished the experience of working with the 56-year-old actor.

Nicole said: 'I love working with him because he's one of the greats.'

The Hollywood star always thought that Liev was the perfect candidate for the role.

She shared: 'I said, "You got to give me Liev because I got to have a husband, a scene partner, to play with, who's going to be really, really rigorous with the script."'

Elsewhere, Nicole stars in Babygirl, the new erotic thriller film, and the actress recently admitted that she hopes it proves to be a 'liberating story' for women.

The acclaimed actress confessed that she found making the movie to be a 'very freeing' experience.

She said at the Venice Film Festival: 'This is one woman's story and this is, I hope, a very liberating story.

'It's told by a woman, through her gaze - Halina [Reijn] wrote it and she directed it - and that's to me what made it so unique because suddenly I was going to be in the hands of a woman with this material.

In June Nicole said her daughters fangirl over one star.

She told Entertainment Tonight that the teens go wild when it comes to actress Joey King, 24, who plays Nicole's onscreen daughter in their new film together, A Family Affair.

'They really fangirl over Joey. Which is nice, right? They've grown up with Joey' Nicole said.

Former child actress Joey rose to international fame thanks to her lead role in The Kissing Booth and its two sequels.

She is also well known for her role as Gypsy-Rose Blanchard in the crime series The Act.

In the new Netflix romantic comedy A Family Affair, Joey plays Nicole's daughter, who gets a shock when she discovers her mother is having an affair with her boss (played by Zac Efron).

Nicole has notably kept her daughters out of the limelight - until recently.

During her emotional acceptance speech at the American Film Institute Life Achievement Award Gala, she referred to the girls as the 'loves of [her] life'.

Nicole added: 'My daughters have never been anywhere publicly with me on a red carpet, tonight was their first night, so they're here, Sunday and Faith.'

She previously told Studio 10 that Sunday and Faith love visiting family in Australia.

'Just family. Always family,' the Nine Perfect Strangers star said when asked if she had anything 'on the horizon' for an Aussie visit.

'We jump in and out quite a bit. Sometimes under the radar which is always lovely too.

'The girls love it too. So we're very much always back and forth. It's a huge part of our life seeing my sister and all my nieces and nephews and mama,' she added.

Nicole also shares adopted children Bella, 31, and Connor, 29, with her ex Tom Cruise.

While Nicole and country singer Keith predominantly reside in Nashville in the US with their children, the couple have their roots buried deep in their home country.

Recently, Nicole made yet another property purchase in Sydney as she bought her sixth apartment in the same complex for $7.7million.

The Aussie couple's most recent purchase before that was a three bedroom apartment in the Landmark Latitude building in Milsons Point.
