Nicole Kidman blew a kiss while greeting her admirers when she stepped out in New York City on Monday evening.

The 57-year-old actress looked stunning in the chic, pinstriped suit she wore for her night out on the town.

For her outing, she modeled a navy blue, double-breasted blazer with a pair of matching, wide-leg trousers.

Underneath her stylish outerwear, she donned a black, lace top with a Victorian-style neckline.

She completed her look with black, satin pumps and was seen toting a structured leather bag with gold hardware.

The Babygirl star — who recently opened up about losing her mother and revealed the last four words she told her — wore a slim retro watch with the same details to complete her look.

The Special Ops: Lioness actress styled her strawberry blonde tresses in perfectly tousled beach waves for an effortlessly chic look.

She looked radiant and glowing in a dewy makeup look with rosy pink blush and a glossy, cherry red lip.

Her outing comes shortly after she revealed she almost quit acting in 2008.

During an interview on CBS Sunday Morning, which aired on the day before, she said after she welcomed her first child with her husband Keith Urban, she was prepared to leave Hollywood behind.

She said the reason she changed her mind was because her late mother, Janelle Ann Kidman, advised her to not give up on her passion for acting.

'When I gave birth to [Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban], I was like, "Well, I think I'm pretty much done now,"' she recalled.

'We were living on a farm, and that's when my mother said, "I wouldn't give up completely. Keep a finger sort of in it,"' she continued. 'And I'm like, "No, no. I'm done now. I'm done."

'She's going, "Just listen to me. Keep moving forward. Not saying that you have to do it to the level you've been doing it, but I wouldn't give it up completely."'

Kidman noted that the generational difference with her and her mother may have impacted their different perspectives on the matter.

'That came from a woman who was from a generation that didn't have the same opportunities that I had, that she had helped create for her daughters,' the Oscar winner said. 'So that's probably something that she wished she'd had when she was little.'

Kidman took her mother's advice and continued acting.

She went on to earn her third Oscar nomination for her role in Rabbit hole, three years later.

Since then, Kidman has been nominated for two more Oscars; one was for Best Supporting Actress in 2017 for her role in the biographical drama Lion, and the other was for Best Actress in 2022 for Being the Ricardos.

Kidman previously won an Oscar in the Best Actress category in 2003 for her portrayal of Virginia Woolf in the psychological period-drama The Hours.

Nowadays, Kidman is one of the most acclaimed and respected actresses in Hollywood, but her busy schedule still makes it difficult for her to find work-life balance sometimes.

'Finding that balance is part of the journey,' she said. 'You make mistakes, you overdo it. So then you go, "OK, now I need to go and take care of this part of my life because it suffered."'
